do you like the crown braid look?

I have super-long hair down to my waist. It's not all Michelle Duggar or anything....i take really good care of it and it's not extremely frizzy, dead, or dry as straw.

So my FI LOVES the long hair. He nearly begged me to keep it when I mentioned sending it to Locks of Love after the wedding, but eventually agreed with me that i can grow it back quite easily and i had more than enough to spare (and it will be down to my feet if I don't.)
He only had one condition: that I do something involving long braids with my hair on the wedding day. I stumbled on a thing called a "crown braid." He's a geek. into medieval stuff. I think he'll love it but i'm on the fence. Check them out:

    I think if you like it, it's great!!!! Especially if he's into medieval stuff, or if it's a hippie-ish wedding!  I'm so jealous...I can't get my hair to grow past my bra-line, try as I may. Even then it gets a little frazzly-looking.

    any advice on growing your hair that long? My hair is right to the bottom of my bra line right now and I want it to grow long because I am planning on recreating the haristyle that NIcole Scherzinger wore the first night of Dancing WIth The Stars (btw did anyone see that hairstyle? and if you have, have you found any sites discussing how she did it?) Anyway I really want my hair to grow out but it seems to be staying where it is right now.
