Reasonable Florist

Hi,

I am getting married in POrtland, CT. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced florist in the Portland, Cromwell, Manchester, Rocky Hill area?

I am using Stylish Blooms. they are out of bristol but pretty much travel all over. Melissa the owner is great and the prices are so affordable. I know a few other girls are using her too. Her website is www.stylishblooms.com. Jane from just for you is also a board choice.

Yes I second Melissa she is awesome, very accomodating. My Mom even called her for some flowers for my shower and she was so nice she drove over to my Mom's since she can't drive. She is so affordable too!

I'm a total fan of Jane (Just For You)...she is out of Middlefield (which is next to Middletown, near the Rocky Hill/Cromwell area) but pretty much covers all of CT. She is super nice and totally accomodating and very honest...she gives you options on how to keep costs down while still having a nice arrangement but also lets you know a ballpark figure of what the higher end arrangements costs so you have a ballpark figure of where you'll end up and it's up to you if you want to be on the higher end or lower end of that figure...

I second Jane from Jsut for You! She is so easy to work with and makes beautiful floral arrangements. She is very upfront with the price and tells you different ways you have make your vision come to life considering your budget.

I used Heather Henry - HGK Designs - and she wound up being one of my favorite vendors. Totally affordable, flexible, helpful and very responsive. Our wedding reception was in Glastonbury so she travels all over CT. Definitely check her out - I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I'm a Jane girl too!! I'm getting married in Portland at St. Clements in February and she has been awesome with helping us to design an archway that will really capture the essence of the castle, but also that goes with a winter themed wedding. She is amazing, and the mom of one of my friends from HS so I am a little biased! However, she is affordable and very accommodating!
