My boss is gone for the week and my other boss will be gone at 10am...I'll just be here all day! I really don't have any work anyways, everyone is gone.

I'm going shopping for myself on Friday and to get away from FMIL.

I confess that I really don't want to go to FI's Aunt's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving. He's been gone for 10 days and I just want him all to myself! ;)

I confess that my cube mate smells like Vanilla Fields today and I'm choking on it

I confess it ticks me off that when I was a kid in school we NEVER got the day before Thanksgiving off...ever.

    • I really don't want to go to FI's families Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow...
    • I can't WAIT for this day to be over.
    • I know a house would be better financially (in the long run) for FI and I, but I REALLY want to just get a condo that is already really nice and already beautiful :)

I confess that I feel this compelling force drawing me to the Nest lately, even though I still have 4.5 months to go.

I confess that I'm a dumbazz because I forgot to fill in my address for the knottie/nestie ornament (elfster) exchange - it's fixed now.  lol

and I confess that some of the stuff I plan to buy while shopping this weekend are for myself.  :)

I confess that I catch up on The Knot every morning at work before digging into my to-do list.

I confess that I just want to sit at home and be lazy tomorrow.  I don't want to spend the day driving to our different family get-togethers.

    I confess...

    • I'm GLAD we aren't going to Brian's mom's house for Thanksgiving tomorrow.  Spending time with her in the car when she drives us down to Metro Airport on Saturday is not high on my list of things I want to do either, but oh well, not much I can do about that one.  I'm tired and cranky and saw way too much of her last Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
    • I am trying to convince Brian that we should take each others' names and both hyphenate.  Not sure that one is going to fly, but I have to try!  LOL.
    • I was proposed to (again) last night with the decoy honeymoon ring.  It was rather amusing...I promise to post the story and pictures tonight.
    • I was ready to start trying for babies before we got married...but now that we truly can start trying, I'm scared out of my mind!!
    • On our wedding night, Brian and I sat in the jacuzzi for about 20 minutes, then went to bed.  There was no hanky-panky going on.  I'm not sure if I regret that or not.  Probably not.

I confess I feel icky about how my body looks since i haven't gone to the gym in months. I shouldn't be so hard on myself but I still notice how out of shape I'm getting. Mostly my arms - I miss my muscles!

I confess I wish the wedding was tomorrow because I'm so sick of planning and waiting I'm ready to be married.

I confess I am glad that my Christmas list keeps getting smaller. I hate shopping and money is tight this year.

I confess I wish house shopping was a simpler quicker process. I am not looking forward to the next few months.

Finally, I confess I wish I knew what was going to happen on the job front so I wasn't nervous about being stuck forever at a job I hate.

Yeah, no excitement on our wedding night either Taryn! We were just way too exhausted. How sad. But, I've heard this is more and more common.

I confess that I can't wait until FI's family leaves on Friday.  The kids are trashing my house and the parents aren't helping.  Also, they've been making my FI and I cook for their kids at night.  WTF!  They are your kids, not mine!!

FYI - those shoes are CRAZY comfortable too! I love wearing them

I confess that I love that my shoes have a fan club

I confess that I'm scared to death about dealing with my mom, and my dad's wife at the wedding (see corresponding post)

I confess that I always forget to use the bullet feature until I'm halfway done with my post (like right now)

I confess that I want to move out of our condo more and more every day. It won't sell right now, which we both know, but I don't care. I want out! I need to get FI on the bandwagon.

I agree that the shoes are comfy!!  I wore them my entire bridal shower and my feet didn't hurt AT ALL!  I should have worn them for the wedding...if only my colors were purple, not red.  LOL.

I confess that I will get very little work done today.  Both bosses are gone which means my coworkers and I will be gossiping and chatting all day.

I confess that I am most excited about going to FI's grandma's house for thanksgiving so that everyone can oooh and aww over us for the engagement.  No one in his family has seen us since we got engaged in September.

I confess that I am curious to see how FI's brother's new wife handles the attention shifted away from her at thanksgiving.  They got married in August and she was p*ssed when she found out we got engaged so soon after their wedding.

I confess that I too love those purple shoes!

did you wear the red version of that shoe or were your red ones different shoes all together. I remember that the purple ones also came in red right? At any rate your red shoes were HAWT!

    • I have no energy to anything today except make my appetizer for Thanksgiving
    • I am looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with the family. My parents are now invited to all holidays with DH's family since we got married (everyone gets along great!)
    • I am just now getting around to giving my Aunt her bill for the landscaping I did on her house back in June/July
    • I want to go back to bed
    • I wish we had a bigger house so all of our cr@p would fit instead of being spread out at 3 locations
    • Wish I had a bigger closet
    • I hate organizing/cleaning the basement
    • I CAN'T wait for Friday when I can get all of my Christmas things out and decorate!

My red ones were from Target, but a different style.  I thought it'd be weird if I had the purple and red in the same style.  LOL!

And thanks...I liked my red shoes...especially during the newlywed game. Wink

I confess that FI and I had an argument last night about Thanksgiving.  Why are the holidays and stuff with FIL's so stressful?  Not encouraging for our future marriage...

I confess that I have a case review meeting with my boss later today yet zero motivation to get any work done.

    • Sometimes on the way into work I hope I get in a small fender bender so I can skip work for the day or two or three lol.
    • I have to get my wisdom teeth out and scares the crap out of me.

Stebbe -  don't worry about your wisdom teeth.  I had mine done a few years ago and was terrified but it ended up not being bad at all!  The only thing that was bad was that you can't eat the foods that you want.  I survived on mashed potatoes, pudding, and jello.

Plus they give you awesome pain meds which certainly helps!  Just make sure that who ever is helping you have them filled right away.  There was an issue at the pharmacy and my mom had to wait 3 hours to get them filled--not fun!

You will also want to ice your face as much as possible to ensure the bruising and swelling stays at a minimum.  Good luck!

Stebbe...the wisdom teeth will get you out of work for a few days and you won't have to worry about damaging your car!  Wink  Seriously though, like PP said, its not that bad.  The drugs are amazing and you just feel tired and out of it, but no pain.  The only thing was, I was SOOOOOO hungry because all I could eat was apple sauce, jello, etc.  I wanted to eat, but I couldn't.  Start thinking of foods you can eat without chewing.

All the knotties who do not want to see family tomorrow lets have a GTG at Starbucks. I had a dream last night that we were there.

Ugh!! Me too. It was fun at first, but I am now just frustrated that all the houses I like are in a bad neighborhood or short sales. I don't have time to wait 6 months for a bank to tell me NO!!
