Hi ladies,
Bad news...our officiant had to back out from performing our wedding. He is a friend of the family (who happens to be a judge) and some stuff came up in his professional life that he needs to tend to. So, with only a little more than a month to go, we need to find someone to marry us.
Our wedding is scheduled to take place at our reception venue in Clinton Township on June 25th. We are not religious at all and planned on having a very simple, secular ceremony. Can anyone recommend an officiant for us to call?
Another bummer is that we weren't going to have to pay for the officiant since he was a friend. He was going to do it as a gift to us. How much do officiants usually charge? Our budget is maxed out and we have to pay off the honeymoon and hall within the next few weeks. I'm trying not to freak out about the added expense. Please tell me it's not TOO much $$$!!
