Any brides wearing a "bridesmaid" dress?

I want a simple, not-too-poofy wedding dress. There are some great lines of bridesmaid gowns that fit the bill, and most come in white, ivory, or champagne shades. Not to mention they're much less pricey than typical "bridal" gowns. I'm specifically thinking of Jim Hjelm bridal party dresses.

Is anyone else doing this? Do you have suggestions for any other lines of bridesmaid dresses that I should check out?

*Maybe I should add that I'm having a very simple ceremony, with no bridal party. So I won't have to worry about my dress not looking "fancy" enough or looking too similar to the bridesmaids'.

  • Watters has some nice bridesmaids gowns that fit that as well. I wore one for our JOP ceremony, it was nice, simple, and afordable. All great things. :)
