I'm so excited!!!

We are mailing the wedding invitations tomorrow! 

And we have our first shower -- a couples' shower - this Saturday evening!  We're going down to where his family is to have it down there.  Should be really fun to meet people that I STILL haven't met!! :-)  And I already know I'm getting at least 1 gift at some point ... whoops, peeked last week!  Well, no more peeking at the registry for me this week, I want to be totally surprised because I don't have any expectations and would love to be genuinely surprised.  

Let the counting begin, right!?!!  :-D

    Great fun!! I know sending out the invitations felt like a huge landmark for me! Good for you, not peeking at the registry :) Have fun meeting family!

    Yay, so fun! Just wait until you start getting reply cards back- we have only gotten 11 cards back (24 people- all yeses!), but I jumped up and down the first day when we got 7 back! So exciting! Have fun at the shower!!

    Thanks for the responses, ladies!!  You all are awesome!!! :-)  It's been an interesting Monday thus far ... knowing that my invitations are going out, knowing that the shower is coming up ... all the anticipation that goes with all of that ... AND this week at work is weird (end-of-grade testing with regular education students starts this week).  So... yeah, it's going to be an interesting week!  Hopefully i can stay focused on doing my job as well as I can even though my mind is elsewhere!!
