You know what I don't like?

Avocados.  I don't like Avocados.  They're a weird texture.  Guacamole doesn't really taste good.  It's all weird and creamy, but a vegetable.  I don't understand the person who decided that it must be a food.  Avocado is not a food.

  • LVB, that picture looks delicious. Nom nom.

Re: the origins of drinking cow's milk, I'm guessing that people saw a woman breastfeeding, then looked over and saw a cow nursing its calf, and figured they could give human mom a break?

DED! I HATE milk. Love cheese and ice cream, though.
  • I want to know who ate the first raw oyster.  I love them, but still who decided this would be good?

Tomatoes.  Won't touch them.  Can't stand the thought of seeds floating in mucus in my mouth.  blegh.

As for avocados...you guys are probably too young to remember Baby Alive's, but you would feed them this powder and water mixture and then it would come out the other end.  What came out was the same color as avocados/guacamole.  again...blegh.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love me some milk. In fact, FI makes fun of me. Apparently, I never grew out of the school thing where you drink milk with every meal. Cause I still pretty much do. I just think the whole idea of figuring out we could drink it is weird.

And I'm on the fence about avacados. They are kinda weird.

When I was little, we used to make bean cakes (I think from pinto beans). Smoosh up the beans, add some onion and make it into a little pancake thingy. Then fry it up and put sour cream on top. That was delicious. Man, how unhealthy.

Maybe pot roast is considered hobo food because it's a relatively cheap cut of meat, and you just throw in whatever root vegetables you have. I love one-pot meals, and that they're economical is just a bonus!
