S/O Poll. Boobs!

Re: S/O Poll. Boobs!

  • I'm with you, Roxi and Expat- I will consider implants after babies, but only would be interested in going to a 'real' B, rather than my current high A/low B size depending on bra.
  • I'm a 36FF or 34G depending on how tight I want the band. I can't wait until the doctor gives me clearance to tell the insurance company that its a medical issue with all my back problems and get them reduced to about a 36D.

  • I am a 36 DDD/ 38 DD. Its no fun dress shopping for me either. I got the clearance to have them reduced, but decided to wait, because I know I want to have kids and they will go all out of whack again. I will have them reduced and lifted all in one sitting.

  • I'm a 36G, and I hate it. I soooooo want a breast reduction, but will probably wait until after we have kids. So many women say they wish they had bigger boobs. Do not wish this upon yourself. All you will get is headaches, backpain, lewd comments, and a never ending hassle to find dresses and swimwear.

On a side note: VS also told me I was a DD because that's the largest size they carry! But once I went to a specialty bra store I got properly fitted and it made a huge difference!

  • I'm somewhere between a 36 D and 36DD. The bones across my shoulders are literally getting deformed from years of bra straps weighing on them. My 11 year-old is somewhere between a 32A and 32B. My SIL is around a 32B, and looked into getting hers done. My brother did NOT want her to do it, but didn't try to talk her out of it. She talked herself out of it. The surgeon had samples of both the silicon implants and the saline implants, and was discussing the leakage rate of each. The saline has a much higher leakage rate, and my SIL compared the bag holding the saline to the thickness of a sandwich bag, whereas the bag for the silicon was much thicker. When asked why the manufacturers didn't simply use the same material to enclose both the saline and the silicone, the surgeon had no answer.

Yeah, both my brother and SIL concluded that the manufacturers were going for planned obsolescence. That turned her off completely, and she decided not to get them done.
  • I tossed the idea around of implants but they're NMS.

Then DH and I were in Toronto for his brother's bachelor party (and SIL's bachelorette) and in the typical night of debauchery, the guys hit up a strip club where you're allowed to 'touch on top'.

He came into our hotel room saying, "I don't like how fake boobs feel!"  It made me bizarrely happy.
