If anyone has any feed back on the Lake-Club in Clove Lake Staten Island I would appreciate it. I was thinking of having my wedding there. Thanks

    I actually looked into the Lake Club when we first started looking at venues. It's a beautiful place. That being said, the receptions are afternoon only. Also, it holds 150 but when we looked into it that was the absolute max and we would have to make a lot of cuts on little things to have all of the guests we wanted.

    You should probably post this on your (our) local board as well. Click on "Local Wedding Boards" on the left and then click on "New York City". I haven't visited the Lake Club so I can't give any feedback.

    The lake club is really nice for wedding under 150. I attended a winter wedding in 2009 and it was beautiful. Good luck

    I've never been there but my MIL just went to a shower there and she said it was great. She even raved about the food, and it can take a lot to impress her.

    I live near by and was considering having my wedding or shower there (mother hosting).  The wedding prices were way to high for the spot and what they were offering.  The rooms need renovations.  I never ate there so I do not have an opinion on the food.

    I did love the outside patio for my shower however there is no heat or AC out there which was a deal breaker for a summer affair.
