I don't mind being home by myself if I'm expecting it. I just hate waiting for hours for him to come home after the time I expected him. I know his work situation is volatile right now and he's taking hours when he can get them so I don't say anything to him about being disappointed and lonely. It would help if I had other friends around here but we haven't really met anyone since we moved to the area.

*hugs and sticky dust* for you Denise. I remember that hopefully cautious phase all too well and really hope everything goes nice and smooth for you this time around.

Today my parents came over and hhelped me reorganize some stuff. I found H's old schedule/planner thing and there was our mystery wedding chech we weren't able to cash! It had been made out to Mr and Mrs Hfirstname Bil-lastname so no bank would cash it and the guys wouldn't write one to the right name.

K got 0 naps today so she went to bed an hour early. Hopefully she'll sleep tonight but I'm not counting on it. I'm also convinced I see a tooth in there but H thinks I'm hallucinating. We also had a long talk about chores and stuff and today was much better than the past few ones.

I saw that! My ex worked for Quest, so I have a hate-hate relationship with them.

I know, it's crazy, but it's so warm! Usually I want to go and N doesn't, but this year he's all into it and he says this would be the year to go--warm, no kids, etc.

I say yes, but mostly because I'm jealous that you have that option!

I must experience that once in my life. Though I have claustrophobia issues and wouldn't know how I would stand there for that long and not be able to pee. I need to book a hotel room with a balcony in viewing distance I think. About 10 years in advance.

I am sad about it, but I think it was a beautiful way for him to go (all the things he said before hand and then the scene in the trenches after). He didnt have anywhere else to go, character wise :( I dont like that I wont SEE him anymore though.

It was horrible. I went there to get my thyroid checked and just for a full work up because I might as well....1.5 hours later I wanted to gouge someone's eyes with the needle.

I'm here. Just tried to put Sparky to bed but he woke up so I'm listening to him whine on the monitor. I'll go check to make sure he's not suffocating in a few minutes.

We are watching my friend's nephew play for Wake Forest in their bowl game right now (#50 Whitlock in case anyone is watching). Raz made dinner (tomatoes, feta, avocado and french bread with a CPK frozen veggie pizza. It works.

Oh, and check out this bad boy my dad brought home for K. She's missing ears but otherwise works great. The head moves when petted and lips 'eat" carrots and she whinneys if you pet her. One of dads friends was giving her away (retails for $300)
