    JD, I had Taco Bell for lunch. Today's food choices have been nowhere near healthy. :-( J.Mo, my chicken boobz are all frozen. Steph, I will be ready with your bronze medal when you get there!

    seriously, i love my crockpot. love. it.

    chicken breasts.
    salsa.
    in the crockpot.
    plug it in.
    low if you're going to work, high if you're not. on high it's about 4ish hours.
    when it's shreddable, it's ready. you can't mess this one up. it takes a long long long time for it to burn(unlke other recipes)

    Fifth Anniversary 1000 Comments 100 Love Its Name Dropper
    I will be making hamburgers tonight with rice, mac n' cheese, veggies, and crescent rolls. On weekdays when I DO cook it's pretty basic. I save my new recipes for the weekend. Just this Saturday I baked chicken breasts in a sauce of white wine, lemon juice, garlic, EVOO, and oregano. It was delicious!

    i've never done it on low. i would imagine that if you work a big girl job you could put it in before you left for work and it would be good by the time you got home. if it's not, put it on high for like 30 mins then it should be good.

    I don't like putting frozen chicken in the crockpot because I like to trim it before cooking to get all the nasty fat and visible veins out. I could always try to trim the chicken before freezing next time but that won't help right now.

    Low is usually slightly less than twice as long as high. So if it's 4 hours on high, it's 7.5 or so on low.

    I know this is from last night, but i'm making a chicken/rice casserole tonight.  YUM!  FI is on travel & I hate cooking for just me - BUT i'm trying to lose weight and that means NO fast food!
