I would find it weird if my FI was posting this much on a predominantly female forum. I think its GREAT to have men thinking about weddings - its just the talking to women in general I wouldn't be so excited about.

Jef would never post here. Ever. I think it irks him a little when I ask for personal advice on the Internet. He made a kind of snotty comment about it once that I haven't quite forgiven. :( I've since explained that TK fills the girlfriends niche for me, since most of our friends IRL are guys. He's more understanding now, but he still doesn't get it.

I tried to complain to my guy friends that I feel neglected lately, since Jef is out almost every night with this friends. We're LD, so it's not like he could be out with me instead, but we used to talk every day and now we can go for a week at a time without a meaningful conversation. I know it's just because he's wanting to maximize his time with his friends before he moves to another country -- but, still. I'm kind of sulky about it. When I attempted to confide in the guys, their advice was to:

1) Send Jef nudes; or
2) Send <em>them</em> nudes, because that will make Jef jealous; and
3) if all else fails, make him a sandwich.

Other than my groomsmen, talking about my wedding is about last on the list of things my friends want to talk about so that pretty much leaves this website. Since I'm dealing with most of our wedding planning, I have our wedding on my mind most days and I enjoy posting on a forum where most of the other people are also thinking about weddings all the time. The fact that most of the people here are women is a non-issue for my FI, she doesn't have any trust issues with me.

Like really or jokingly. Is it one big swingers fest over there?

Vegas: I don't have many people to talk to about the wedding because they are so wrapped up in their own lives, which is understandable. Nobody will be as excited as we are about our wedding. But I like coming here because it means I can talk to people in the same position as me or that have been through it before.

Celles: I understand about him getting upset for asking or posting about personal stuff, Fi does that too. It is nice to have someone to talk to about just about anything. I like it because no matter what time of day, my friends may not answer the phone if i want to talk, but TK is always there.
