Feather hair piece & veil?

I have this gorgeous veil I want to wear but I also kinda want to wear a feather hairpiece....would this go together well?

    I did this.... I know some people wear the veil for the ceremony without the hairpiece and then remove the veil and add the hairpiece.  I loved both and just wore them at the same time.

    Here is a pic I found online that is just like the hairpiece I have now.



    My veil is short...like only to my mid back. I am wearing my hair similar to this, off to one side.

    I think if you keep it in a low-profile spot like Giaspo (ie. not on the top of your head, top of your bun, sticking straight out, etc) you should be able to do them both together. Yours is subtle - not overwhelming.

    I say go for it, BUT with a caveat:

    My sister did something similar, but didn't do a trial hair appt with the hairpeice.  What she missed by skipping the trial is is that it wat that the feathers were too long, and spent the entire day of the wedding in her face.

    Definitely do a trial run with the veil and hairpeice!  It's worth your time.
