Question regarding Boot Camps

I have never done a boot camp before and am a little scared.  I walk a few times a week and do some weights or run on the treadmill a bit here and there.

So my question is do you need to be in good shape to do a boot camp?

No necessarily, most times if you speak to the instructor before class and tell them your situation they will make sure to focus on what you need as well as the rest of the class. They will push some people and should always give a modified exercise for the people who can't do certain things due to injury or ability. Don't be scared it will be worth it when you see the results.

    You can do it.

My instructor does push us hard, and I remember wanting to quit after the first session.  But I have come to love it, and I am seeing results.  Best of luck to you!

How did you guys find boot camps?  I'd love to do one, but I don't have a gym membership.  Do you know of any places that do them near Burlington or Cambridge?

    THX!

I got a message from Get Sugar for on in Quincy, but a lot of times different clubs put them on for both members and non-members. I think there is a Healthworks in Cambridge that might do some, but they'll be on the pricey side.

Go for it!  I say it depends what bootcamp you do.  I think if you're doing a bootcamp at a gym, you and handle it.  I did Ultimate Bootcamp before my wedding and it was insane.  I was in good shape already and it was hard core--but the results were unbelievable!
