2 feet of snow - 8 more on the way!

This is the view from my backyard... beautiful- white- quiet. 

Edit: okay. that heading is totally misleading. 2 feet so far - 8 more INCHES!! :-)

    I've already got a foot or so outside, and it's supposed to snow for another 10 - 12 hours.  I'm starting to get sick of all this snow. It seems like every weekend for the past 2 months we've either gotten rain or snow.

    I'm kind of jealous.  We've had a pretty crummy winter here.  It's been cold, but not very much snow.  If it's going to be cold I'd rather we at least get a good snow.

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     Go go national guard. I must say DC (and my apartment) is handling this much better than the Christmas storm. I think the plows are going about ever 5 minutes on the beltway, and my apartment complex has been plowing/shoveling nonstop since the snow started.

    I'm in DC too, and I have to say, if I put in this much effort to dig out and we have to go to work on Monday, I'm going to be pissed.  I want a snow day, man.

    I hear ya!  I live in Philadelphia and we got 27 inches!  I dislike snow and the thought of more of it is depressing me.  Oh well, I have my warm blanket and hot chocolate...I will pull through this!  Good Luck with keeping your head held high!
