Bridal Portrait location?

Hey girls,
I'm getting my bridal portraits on March 13th.... except I'm at a bit of a loss for a good place in Raleigh.  I'm not in town, so I can't go check out any places beforehand really.  Any suggestions???   (I've heard Duke Gardens is a zoo on saturdays and not the best option...)  I can't decide if I should go "garden" or "urban" or if there are any other unique ideas...  let me know!

Thanks!
~N

Depends if you want to stay in Raleigh or if you're open to the area as a whole. A good local photographer should be able to direct you to specific places, but in general UNC's campus, Duke's campus and Duke Gardens are beautiful. Also, Moore Square in downtown could be really pretty. More urban options would be downtown Raleigh, the free expression tunnel at NCSU, Carrboro as a general. The JC Raulston Arboretum is another local favorite, but with all the cold weather we've been getting it may not be in bloom yet. The Brier Creek Country Club is pretty, too. Bond Park ... Maybe that's enough to get you started. :) Good luck!

<div>I agree...your photographer should know the best places to shoot, especially now that the weather is getting nice, etc.  Beware of Duke Gardens on a Saturday, unless you like mobs of strangers in the backgrounds of all your photos!  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div>

I agree with Tiffers suggestions!  If you're still at a loss, Pullen Park near NCSU could be cute b/c they have lots of greenery, the pond/lake, wooden bridges and a carousel (if you're feeling adventurous).

    Good luck!

We're having pic's taken at the Rose Garden in Raleigh, (near NC State University; off Hillsborough Street; behind Raleigh Little Theater).
