My FI had decided he really liked the idea of a pocket square in the front of his and the GM's tuxes. He also really wanted a boutonniere. I saw no problem with this, but it's recently been brought to our attention that this isn't "correct" by a family member. Considering this particular side of the family has been less than pleasant in most of the wedding planning, so at this point we really mostly ignore what they say. However, it seemed so oddly specific that I started wondering if it was really the case...
Is it okay to wear both a pocket square AND a boutonniere?
