Larissa Lake brides

Quick question for all of you who used or will use Larissa Lake for your wedding... Did her quote match what she has on the website?  I was surprised to see that for hair and make-up the cost was $25 higher than what she has on her website.. however, I did notice that it still says "2012 tba".  I also found it a little odd that I'm getting charged more but she won't even be there (she is already booked for a wedding, so she's contracting out make-up and hair stylists).

I know it's only $25 but I'm already going over my hair/make-up budget substantially in order to get it done professionally so I was just wondering what your experience has been.... TIA!

    Yes, I just booked her two weeks ago and my items were $25 higher than the website.

    Wow...that sucks! I'm in the process of trying to book her, and just got most of my bridesmaids to agree to the prices on her website (they're all on a budget). Her prices are the most reasonable I've seen so far, so hopefully we can still afford her... :-\

    @jacki- I was also on a budget for make up.  I found my makeup artist during my boudoir shoot and did another trial with her so I could try out the airbrush make up.  Her prices are just a touch lower than Larissa Lake, and she has a hair person too.  let me know if you want more info.

    I booked her a while ago but I just checked and mine was $25 higher also.  Honestly, I don't mind although if I keep having this attitude I am going to go way over budget lol!

    Just my hair/makeup was $25 more.  All my bridesmaid's were still $70 each for each service which is what it says on the website.

    I used Larissa Lake for my wedding back in Oct 2010. I am surprised anyone was over charged as my experience with her was nothing short of amazing. I know that if ppl were charged an extra $25, maybe they decided to get the custom lashes last min, as that is what happened for my MOH, she saw how awesome my lashes were and last min got them herself so that was why it was $25 more than the orginal quote. But that was her choice and she knew it was going to be a little more than she originally expected. On the website it says $95 for air brush makeup and $25 for the lashes and hair is $85 so if she is quoting you around those prices you are all set. And she has an amazing team of ppl working for her. She told me she doesn't discount the prices because she makes sure all her girls do equally amazing work - which they do! I still have Stephanie do my eyebrows and I love them!  Hope this helps!!! Staying on budget is tough, I totally went over!!! : )
