True story - in high school my dad told me (and some friends) that boys should want to date me cause he had a power ice auger and they should go out with me for a chance to use it... I think he thought that was funny. Maybe he's the reason I didn't date in high school

. Some guy actually wrote something about the ice auger in one of my yearbooks..

Yesterday, DH and I were in Target. He picked out a shirt in the women's section and said "now this is nice!" and I laughed. Then he said "see, this is why I could never buy clothes for you."

Later on in the car I asked if he was kidding...I hadn't even looked at the shirt because I figured he was joking because he does that all.the.time. I apologized if he was being serious, but it turns out he was joking. But then why did he say what he said??

Roxy - I understand. I go tanning a few times before I go to Mexico, otherwise I will burn on day 1 (I have blistered my shoulders, nose, cheeks, and tops of ears before) and be miserable for the rest of the trip. A little base along with SPF 30 goes a long way.

Nope, I'm not one to go all the time even though I hate my natural pale color.
Being tan always helps my skin clear up (I know they say thats a myth but...it does.) and it makes my ridiculous under eye circles far less noticeable.

I'M here sorta. Not sure for how long. We lost heat today so it's a freezer in the entire building. Not sure what's going on. Checking the oil line soon, hoping it's that so it's somewhat an easy fix.

temerityjane ---I haven't seen you on for a little while. Glad to see you. I don't know if I was just missing posts or if you been gone for a bit.

I haven't really been on much this weekend since Friday n Saturday were FI's days off this week.

Had our first snow fall last night. We got nothing overall, and about 10 miles away-got close to 6inches.

Sucrets - thanks for making me feel better. It did make me realize that he should never shop for me. Bless his heart.

He played a horrible trick on me yesterday, so I guess we are even, but not really because his was real bad. He was playing marble works with Ben in his room. He threw a basketball against the wall and said "oh no! Ben! Carrie come here!". I almost threw up because I just knew that Ben was hurt. I was shaking and crying by the time I even got to the room. It took me a good 30 minutes to calm down.

It was the single dumbest thing he's done since I've known him. And he's done a shitton of dumb things.

Luckily DH just does clueless stupid things. He generally means well, though.

Yesterday I had towels in the washer, waiting to turn it on when we got home. I ran back out to do stuff and he started them. Aw, so sweet. But then he took all the towels and dish rags from the kitchen and threw them in.

It would have been impressive if:
a) he replaced them so that I had something to dry my hands on
~and~
2) I hadn't just replaced them that morning when I put the load in the washer.

I watched Zombieland for the second time last night which led me to have zombie dreams. I woke up wishing for a real-life zombie invasion because then all the stores would be empty and I could just go and get the furniture I really want. (I was shopping in my dream).

I was also pregnant in my dream, probably around 4 months. That was the weirdest part. Not running from the undead.

I'm having all these semi realistic dreams lately.

Last night, I went to a theater class...only I'm 31 and pregnant and the rest of the class was MS and HS kids. And I missed the beginning of it since I was working, and the teacher yelled at me. Then I realized that I was older than him, lol.

It was just weird.

I generally hate having zombie dreams, im terrified of a real life zombie attack (but im prepared!). My favourite zombie dream ive had was with gary sinese. We hid on a bus together.
