[QUOTE]Jordan- a girl I grew up with had something similar happen with her and her oldest son's dad.  He was married, she meet in class at school.  They had a group porject and they were in the same group.  He always had the group over to work on the project at his apartment.  She had never seen any pics of another girl or heard of a wife or anything.  He asked her out towards the end of the semester.  They dated for about 1 1/2 years and he asked her to move in.  She never found anything to be suspision of but after she moved in he was gone a lot "studying" at the library and gone to his parents on the weekends.  She found out she was pregnant a few months after they moved in and when she told him he said "that sucks because my wife is having a baby and our other one is 2 and I just can't be here for ya" and he left.  Never heard from him or anything again after that.  She ran into him and his wife at the doctor one day and called him out in front of her.  Now he is divorced and paying child support to both women.

Amanda, I thought the same thing when you said you had been married before! You do look young! I understand though. I had some man ask me the other day if I was even 21. I was like "ummm. 5 years ago I was". Haha

1.) I have been to every country in Europe except France even though I have my MA in French History.  I had always hoped to do France with the person I loved (share my passion with someone I am passionate with kind of deal).  Instead Albert has promised to take me for my 30th birthday.  He felt that if I was trying to plan a wedding and the trip I have looked forward to for 20 yrs, I might miss out on something or short change one of them.  Otherwise, yes, I have been to every country in Europe :)

2.) I hate sweets.  I can't stand them.  Something about how rich and sugary things these days can be makes me queazy.  I really just hate hate hate icing (I know, I am weird)  It's just far too sweet for me.

3.) I had a tumor on my thyroid when I was in college that had to be removed, along with part of the gland.  Now, whenever it acts up, my weight balloons out of control.  I  have gone from 110 lbs to 250 in less than a month while dieting/excercising. Yeah, so this one is annoyingly true.  Before Thanksgiving I was a size 2.  Before Christmas, I hit a size 20 (boooo).  Everytime it flares up, my metabolism essentially stops.  Everything I eat and don't work off I gain. I just recently got done with a round of treatments to get it under control to start working it all off again.  Let's hope there is no flare up before the wedding :P

[QUOTE]Courtney - Have you ever had homemade mac & cheese? Like with a sauce made from milk and real cheese? Not all mac & cheese comes from a box.

Anna--yeah, FI has tried and tried to get me to eat it, but I have been such a picky eater that it is really hard for me to try new things. I think the day will come soon, so hopefully it isn't as awful as I have built it up to be in my head.

    Courtney,
I like mashed potatoes and I loooooove mac and cheese.  However, when you said that your FI mixes them together, I wanted to vomit a little.

    Kendall,
I still can't believe that you've got all that schooling about France and you haven't been!!!!!  I've been to Paris on every trip to Europe so far and I'm not a French academian.

    1. Has had several paranormal experiences as a child and adult. Lie-I am fascinated by the paranormal though.

    2. Had a retail customer try to talk to me about my issues, because she assumed I was anorexic. Very true, I was working at James Avery and had a teenage customer buying earrings for her friend. She explained to me that her friend had recently struggled with anorexia and she was doing better. I thought she was just being talkative, but then she said something like, "you are loved and you shouldn't have to face this alone". I told her I had no idea what she was talking about and finished the transaction. I was mad at first but then it really depressed me because it is so far from the truth. FI (then, bf) was out of town at the time so I never told anyone about it.

    3. Turned down entrance to UT right after they won the National Championship, to follow my bf to a smaller school. True! We both applied at the same time and sent our transcripts in a day late and I got in and he didn't. They told him he didn't get in cause the transcript was late, but yet we both sent them in late. Oh well, we both went to Texas State together and enjoy it and I have no regrets.

Diana- I am going to Assassination City Derby's first bout of the season in Fair Park this Saturday. My first bout ever to see in person but I am really interested in joining a league and even got skates and all the gear for Christmas from FI :)

    EXCITING!
If you want any tips, ideas, etc, please feel free to ask!
Also, while you are there, go say "hi" to Jodi Von Rotten (she's a vendor selling jewelry, t-shirts, etc).  She's my best friend and one of my BMs.
I recommend cheering for the following skaters: Debbie Downer, Greta Grab'n'Go, Irish Scream and Strawberry Deathcake (all former Dallas Derby Devils skaters - Greta and I were on the same team for a couple years)

ALSO - Next weekend (April 2nd & 3rd) is the "Clover Cup" - roller derby tournament.  Hosted by the Dallas Derby Devils in North Richland Hills (at NyTex). It will be travel teams (best of the best) from leagues all over Texas and surrounding states.  I'll be announcing during the daytime on Saturday.

I can understand not liking the box stuff, but you really should give the good stuff a go! But, while I'm not picky at all, I hate olives, so I totally understand having a mental block against something!
