so who are the "hot" photographers these days?

It's been awhile since I've been on here but my best friend is getting married and she lives out of state so I told her I would help her with getting some great photojournalist photographers to contact. I really want her to hire Marie Labbancz, but I think Marie is a little too expensive for her budget. Anyone have any recommendations?

We're using Erin H Photography (http://www.erinhphotography.com/), and I can't say enough great things about Erin or her work. Actually, Erin, Kate Connolly and Vanessa Joy are all friends and have very similar styles of work. Very "capture the moment" and less posed.

I went with RyoNo Photo and couldn't be happier. Ryon is a doll and such a talent. He's done weddings for several friends now.

A lot of the ladies on here are going with Jason Rhee. He's popular, but not my style.

Definitely depends on budget, but I'm a huge fan of my photographer (obviously) - McKay Imaging.

Some others that I follow regularly via their blog because I think they have a nice style...

Depends on her budget and the style she's looking for. Robert Wayne Photography and Jason Rhee both come up often and are also both pretty reasonably priced (IMO).
