NWR: Can I wear white shoes in March?

Wondering if I can wear white sandals walking around LA in March...(not talking about with a wedding dress)
I'm visiting LA and don't want to make a fashion faux pas. 
They have dark wood bottoms...

    Sure, why not? It's like mid to upper 70s every day here in the Valley, which is practically Spring already!

    Yes, you'll be fine. I personally find the rule a little outdated, and I think 95% of other people do as well. Especially in LA where people wear summer-type fashions almost all year round.
