Officiant Donation

A little background:
My fiance and I live in NY but are getting married in St. Louis. We are doing all of our pre-wedding counseling with a priest here in NY but we are having a priest in STL perform the ceremony at a church other than his own.

We are making a donation to the church for our ceremony. What is the appropriate donation to the priest for performing the ceremony?

Please help.

You might want to ask on the St Louis board to see what's common/expected in that area.

Our marriage packet had $100-$150 as the suggested donation. But I would definitely ask your local board to see what the norm is. You could also try contacting his parish to find out what the norm is for their parish.
