  • If you want cheap paint, my favorite yellow that we used is Olympic's Sawdust. I know it sounds weird, but I love the color, it's pretty pale and looks somewhere between butter and cream :)

I did see that! Jealous! I've been to an Indy Car race in Richmond. It was ok. Mr Ashley Judd won the race. Danika sucked. I'd like to see a NASCAR race too. You must take pics at the Grand Prix races when you go!
  • Lynda, J is watching How It's Made or something like that on the Science Channel. He watches it all.the.time. Sometimes it's cool, but back to back episodes and seeing how 3 things are made during each one can get kinda boring. I have no idea why he watches that show so religiously.
  • The DE NASCAR race was a blast!  And it's not too far from you, easy to make a day trip out of t.

  • Yeah we'd like to, and they also do a race at Richmond. But we probably won't be able to do one this year, as J goes into surgery on the 20th and will be out of commission for 4-5 mos.

DH likes that one also.  I do not mind the show, but I agree after 1 or 2 it's gets old.

Totally! Although I could watch back to back episodes of other shows no problem. But I feel as though I know how way too many things are made.

Well, duh, B. You're doing it wrong.
  • I love the idea of How It's Made, but I feel like they made that show as boring as possible and I don't know why. I mean I'm interested in how things are made, but they really could have jazzed up the show a bit.

I agree.  I am getting into Modern Marvels though. It's a more in depth show than  How it's made.   6 minutes is not long enough to show you how some of these products are made.

I've been looking at wall painting/decorating ideas for the nursery.  And watching The Ten Commandments.

Ooh share? I love nurseries. So much so that I've considered going back into interior design just for nurseries.
  • Lynda, I'm watching Chopped too, I love that show!  I'm waiting for DH to finish whatever he is doing on the computer - then we're going to make homemade pizzas, drink wine, and watch The Informant.  I saw the second half of it while he was napping on the cruise and it was good, so I'm excited to see it in full.
  • B, I love the idea of trees for a nursery. Cherry Blossoms for your little girl would be gorgeous!
  • Roxy - at this point it's just browsing.  It's a huge room - one that can be shared by siblings- so I don't think we're going to committ to major theming.  I'm most interested in something above the crib.

This woman handpaints these name canvases to match the crib set we've already chosen.

Aww those are two of my favorite girl names!  We're almost certainly using Grace as our daughter's middle names (one day).
  • What a beautiful name! Although I'm partial to Grace. See that little one in my sig pic ::points down:: That's my baby sister Isabella Grace.
  • I was wondering who the little butterfly was.

(sorry, i got caught up in the videos...)

  • Isabella is a butterfly =-)

Julia is a family name and I've been in love with it for years.

    I like this one :)

  • I love "classic" names like that. So many "different" names are so overdone these days, they're no longer different. So the names we grew up with are now few and far between. It's a great name. Julia Grace BabyB
