What flavor cake are you planning on having? Do you consider what flavors your guest will like or are you going for what you know and love???

    Our wedding cake is going to be a 3d sculpted thing. Due to the requirements of the shape, it will only be one flavor with one filling. Because the cake is FI's one major request, I'm letting him choose. It will most likely be chocolate with peanut butter filling, which is a fairly safe combo, so i think our guests will be fine. We're also having a dessert buffet, so for non-cake eaters like me, there will be other choices, hopefully including 6 kinds of gelato,

    We don't know yet, but he loves red velvet.  I like red velvet, but I also love all things almond, so I'm thinking maybe we can do some different flavors in the layers.  I think we'll need at least 3 layers anyway.
