trying to decide if i want a candy bar.....

I love the idea of having a candy bar but not sure if its needed. Since  I am having a deluxe viennese table. I was thinking I would do the candy bar myself instead of hiring someone if I decided to do it.  Anyone have any opinions about this?

    You should ask your venue if candy is a part of the Viennese Table. I didn't think ours included one, and just last night one of H's friends told he he loved the candy table at our wedding. I had no idea.

    I think itss fun thing to do but I think you should consider if you are up for the extra work involved and if the venue will charge you extra for setting it up.  If the viennesse is really deluxe then do you really need it?

    If you go with the ciennese I would skip it, If not then I would do it. Most venus will set up the jars for you and you can buy the candy cheap from bj's sams or costco

    I LOVE the idea of a candy bar & if it wasn't that I already am doing an ice cream bar, I'd totally do it. Like the PP said, you already have enough with the Vienese table. Adding a candy bar wouldn't be as appreciated.

    *My little idea is to do a mini one at the rehearsal dinner*

    I agree, I'd do one or the other. You don't need it with the Viennese table and it would probably just go to waste.
    That being said, for anybody who has a candy bar, make sure your guests know where it is. I attended a wedding last year and we had no idea they even had one until the end of the night when we walked over to give the bride the card, and by then all of the candy was gone.

    Ask your venue. Our Viennese table includes a candy bar.
