Wohoo, 3-day weekend!!!

What's everyone up to?
We are headed to Ikea today to hopefully get me a new desk. i've had the same desk since I was in middle school and its far too small for my needs now, so I never use it. I'm ready to get a big L-desk so I can spread out. I haven't been to Ikea in forever so I'm pretty excited.
Re: Weekend Chit Chat
Everytime I think of IKEA, I think of Whiskey Cake in Plano is! Their food is amazingly d'lish and I can't wait to have it again.
Good luck on your search!
I'm having strange dreams. Very very strange dreams.
I found our dream house. A friend is house hunting and sent me some links. That started the horrible idea for me to start looking
Random, but is it just me or does Madonna look like she has been visiting the plastic surgeon a little too much lately....?
MLandCJ, I really want to go to Whiskey Cake!!! They have had mixed reviews on Yelp in the past about their food but the reviews on the cake are always consistently awesome. I love cake, and now I want it...bad. LOL
What kind of strange dreams are you having? Are they more on the nightmare side? Have you started any new medications recently that might have caused this?
[QUOTE]We have our first dance lesson this afternoon, we'll see how that goes! I all but had to drag FI to agree. But tonight is filled with Texas Tech football, beer and burgers, so he's excited.

Wohoo! We're not televised today though, right? I am SO happy it's FINALLY time for college football again!
Other than that, my last day of my first week of Insanity is today. Woo! Only 8 more to go... And catching up on schoolwork. And making my address list for my STDs to go out!
[QUOTE]Hooray for college football!!! The Auburn game ended less than an hour ago and I'm still shell-shocked, haha. Close comebacks (as in we scored 10 points- thanks to an onside kick- in the last 3 1/2 minutes!!) are not heart health friendly! Watching the big SEC matchups tonight and then going to the Aggie game tomorrow! Other than that, my last day of my first week of Insanity is today. Woo! Only 8 more to go... And catching up on schoolwork. And making my address list for my STDs to go out!

We went for OU last year and it was my first time to go in many years. I just love being down in College Station!
Soooo yay, wasted a whole day with this IKEA desk adventure only to leave empty handed, I still have nowhere to do any of my school work, and I'm being exceptionally pouty about it. FI does not understand my ADD brian at all, so he's adding insult to injury right now without meaning to.
[QUOTE]Can you try to order it online?

I can but shipping costs are $150. :( Per the website, it says the store should receive more stock the week of Sept 11, which is vastly different info than the lady at the store gave me. I hope the website is correct though. I put in my e-mail and phone number to get an update as soon as it gets in. I just have to figure out where I'm going to study and how to be productive over the next two weeks.
Went to an awesome beach today and got a lovely shoulder burn, but I have 1 month for it to go away... and then I'll spray tan the lines out.
Other than that got my boudoir pics today!!! More to choose from than I thought although I really need to hit the gym... jelly rolls are not sexy. LOL.
Also, so fun to see so many Rangers fans around the Fenway on Friday. Wish I had thought to buy tickets for the game since it was such a beautiful night
[QUOTE]I am an unhappy camper. Spent 4 hours in IKEA trying to decide on a desk. My little ADD brain cannot handle the tiny desk I have now and all the things strewn around the office (and subsequently the apartment) because we have no organization. FINALLY decided on a desk and sure enough, IKEA doesn't have it in stock. And better yet, they have no idea when they will be getting in it because apparently they rarely get shipments of this desk and it always sells out quickly. Soooo yay, wasted a whole day with this IKEA desk adventure only to leave empty handed, I still have nowhere to do any of my school work, and I'm being exceptionally pouty about it. I found one that I loved at Staples and it matches the IKEA bookshelves that Bill has in the study.

I've ordered from CSN before for work and they have Free Shipping right now!
How did college football scores shake down today? I'm sadly out of the loop. All I know is that Tech beat Texas State, but that's not much to brag about. We don't have cable here so we are very limited on what we watch.
I've been online shopping all weekend. After intense research, I ordered a steamer for my floors. I also researched how to fix the problem I was having with my regular vacuum, so I was able to fix it instead of buying another!
So, a boring weekend of cleaning and trying to fix up our rental house. It's cheaper for me to try to find ways to fix what I don't like about it than for us to buy a house.
Glad many of you ladies seem to be having a productive weekend! I finally mailed out our STDs yesterday... eek! These months up until the wedding are flying by. I should have listened to y'all when yo told me that before!
My jaw hit the floor. All week I had been shoving things in. Everything was shoved to the point where everything would fall out when you opened the door.
[QUOTE]I came home from grocery shopping today to Matt smiling ear to ear. It was strange. He told me he had a surprise for me and lead me to our closet. He opened the door and everything was organized! It was just so clean! Then I realized the entire room was spotless. He even arranged our pillows the way I like them :) My jaw hit the floor. All week I had been shoving things in. Everything was shoved to the point where everything would fall out when you opened the door.
