Anyone around for an Evening Thread?

Re: Anyone around for an Evening Thread?

  • The last company he did it for was actually the second company he worked for doing the same thing.

You have NO idea how crazy people get when you open their trunk and tell them that they have no spare tire.  I mean, wouldn't you check before you called?  UGH.  Or telling them your tire iron doesn't fit their lug nuts.  Oh man.
  • And I agree about the pregnant brides.  I'm fine getting married pregnant, it's just having to go out and spend more money I don't have on another dress.
  • Yeah - that part seems sucky : ( Have you tried selling your old dress?

I told FI he absolutely cannot get me pregnant now becuase I just ordered my size 6 wedding dress and I'll be super pissed if it doesn't fit. I hope you find a new one that isn't too expensive!

  • I have.  I had an offer for $525.  It's just so hard to part with because I was so set on it and fell in love.

And this is the kind of dress I'm wanting now.

Psh.  Size 6?!  Even if it happened and you didn't fit in it you would still look great!

<div>My biggest fear is that by the time I've lost all the weight that I want to lose I'll be ready to get pregnant haha. </div><div>
</div><div>And I really don't understand how you can say you wouldn't want to do b-pics! You've got such a nice figure and a body most of us would kill for. You TOTALLY need to get it done!</div>
  • Grits - I love your dress! I can understand why you don't want to let it go. But I think the second dress will look great too.
  • Grits - Both dresses are lovely, so you can't go wrong either way.

Poke - Thanks... Idk, I just have body image issues, I always have. Logically, I know I'm small, but when I look in the mirror, all I can see are the flaws. I hope to get back to the gym soon and then maybe I'll do b-pics in the fall or something. Cost is another issue though, they're not cheap!

  • Thanks for the reassuring about the second dress.  I feel like it will be poofy enough that I won't just look bigger than I am.

And I totally agree about you needing b-pics.  You'll look great!

<div>You know, when I see someone as good looking as you are I honestly can not for the life of me imagine what flaws you see - but I guess everyone has their own image issues and I totally get that. I don't think I've EVER met anyone that doesn't. I know that a lot of people have been telling me how much slimmer I already look but I just can't see it haha.</div><div>
</div><div>And no they are not lol. The service I had done is $140 but I got a livingsocial deal for $70. I still ended up paying $49 while I was there - which covered tip, shipping for my photo CD because I didn't want to pick it up, and an emailed contact sheet so I could choose my own photos to go on the CD. I only get 5 photos on the CD though and she took SOOO many different poses. Any additional photos added to the CD are $5 or $10 (I can't remember) and I'll probably be adding almost all of them. So even with the livingsocial I'll probably end up paying well over $100. </div>
  • Is it wrong that I kind of want pregnancy b-shots?  haha.  I feel kind of weird for thinking like that, but honestly FI hasn't stopped complimenting me and has been SO intimate since I told him.  He thinks it's attractive even though I'm not showing much yet.

All the ones I've seen around here are like $500 and up. My friend is paying $675 and I just can't justify that to just to get half naked pictures for FI. Although, like my FMIL said, I'm "as lovely as I'll ever be" and maybe I'll want pictures to look back on of my body, pre wedding, pre babies, etc. I plan to get my figure back after I have kids, but who knows how well that'll go.

It's not wrong at all if you think he will enjoy it.

  • Good.  I haven't mentioned it to him yet because I'm not sure how I feel about it. Who knows
  • It's almost 3 am, I think this is the latest I've ever seen an evening thread go.

  • Maybe you should look into an alternative type thing? Or keep an eye on LivingSocial and Groupon. I think that part of the reason that mine weren't quite so high is that they're kind of out there and they want to attract as many customers as possible. Because they're not just b-pics. I had my hair and make up done up all 50's style and did pin up type poses. Still very sexy haha.

And I felt so great after getting them done. Between the professional hair and make up and the sexy outfit I felt SO sexy and confident - which is a first for me when taking pictures.

Grits - I think that's fairly common. And not just for people with pregnancy fetishes lol. It's not always about being sexy - it's also about showing off the beauty and feminenity of motherhood. A good photographer will make sure all of your photos look "artistic" rather than dirrrrrty lol.

But I think it is time I get to bed. It's sooo late and FI has been getting irritated at my bad sleeping habits. Night all!!
  • I'm going to head out as well, night girls!

  • Goodnight!
