Missouri-St Louis

Who is your photographer?

Still no photographer.  I can't find one that is available and that doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Who are you using?

Re: Who is your photographer?

  • Carrie Jones, Miles of Smiles - she seems so down to earth and perfect combo of artistic and classic.... We're doing our engagement photo session next month. For the work, I think she's being very reasonable. :)

I am currently scoping out photographers. Check out Photo314.  They have a special pricing package going on right now that look awesome and I plan on setting up a meeting with them soon.  I am also meeting with Julia Noack with Julia Noack Photography, but I believe she is a little more expensive.

Did she have reasonable prices?  I looked through her photos and they seem alright to me, I'm just worried about cost now. I sent her an email.

<div>Yep, she was really reasonable- her pictures are comparable to the big name photogs in St. Louis and she's like half the price.  I know the package prices have changed a little bit in the last 3 years, but I seriously loved all my pics.  I'm happy to send you a private link to the video she did for me too if you'd like.</div>

  • We used Beine Photography and Jim and Kathy were great.

  • My photographer is Rachel Kertz out of Ste. Genevieve. She is just getting started (she's done 4 weddings now), but she has a great style and she is a friend of a friend. She is also half (or less) the cost of most photographers' lowest prices, and she will be photographing all-day! I'm super excited.
  • McKnight Photography - she's just getting started as well but has trained with established photographers and has a great eye for photography.

  • I'm using Love and Life Photography.  They will customize a package for you if you tell them your budget.  I was really happy with the package they designed for me.  I don't feel like I had to compromise very much even though my budget wasn't very big.  They have so many personal touches and unique things that they do, including passing out business cards that have a picture of you on it with the website and password to your photos.  They also shoot some video durring the night and put together a CD slideshow of photos/videos.  Before the ceremony, they take the bride and groom aside (seperately) and let them say a few words to each other on camera to watch later.

I also met with live, laugh, love fotography.  The girls were very nice and very reasonably priced.
