NWR: FI's Christmas gift?

So FILs decided to switch up their Christmas gift choices for FI and now we've both gotten him the same thing. I'm trying to figure out what to get him instead of the original gift, an accessory for his Go Pro camcorder. What did y'all get your leading men for the holidays?

I bought FI two sweaters on cyber Monday, but I gave them to him already because I figured he can wear them for the holidays lol. Also, I am getting him a St. Michael pendant for graduation on Friday. We just bought the house and have been spending so much money on filling it that we probably won't do the usual gift exchange. But I will probably get him something. Every Christmas I get him something from Hickory Farms, so I will do that again and maybe something else.

I got him a tablet. He had been talking about getting one for a little while and then, of course, the day after it comes in, he makes a comment about how he wants to hold off because they're not up to the right standards or something. Sigh. So now I'm nervous he won't like it. My mom thinks he's just talking himself out of it because of money reasons (he is known to be...frugal ;D) so I'm hoping that's the case.

Good ideas...I got FI an iPad for his bday last April and he loves it! Seriously, it's become his third arm or something.

I tried to see if there were any games he's interested in but no dice so far...

He's got waaaaay too many clothes and they're all mostly outdated. That's going to be a big project for when I move in. We seriously need to decimate his wardrobe; I think he developed a habit of keeping things that don't fit or he doesn't like just to make the closet look full. Ugh, get the big black trash bags ready and tell Goodwill AND the Salvation Army to get ready ;-)

I think he's good on the luggage since he travels so much with work.

I was thinking cologne b/c he keeps showing me the samples he picks up at Sephora. The problem is that he gets four every time he goes and I can't remember the names of them or what they smell like after awhile...lol. I was going to push that gift off for awhile but maybe I will just go to Ulta and figure a good scent out on my own.

I went with a mix of things this year. I got him a couple sweaters, Atari Flashback 4 and I made photo books on Snapfish with pics from the 3 years we've been together. I made him one book for each year and it was fun to see all of the things we've done together!

Nothing....

We are going to St. Lucia for a week in less than a month- and that was our Christmas gift to each other! I did buy him a cute golf ornament so he has some representation on our Christmas tree. His birthday is while we are at St. Lucia though, so I'm going to have to figure out something nice to do there...

Our apartment is already full of shower gifts that I don't know where to store, so I didn't want to get him anything that would take up even more space. I ended up getting him tickets to Natsfest in January, an event put on by our baseball team where you meet the players, go to Q&A sessions, get a bunch of cool stuff. Totally baseball nerd gift, but I thought it might make up for the wedding being at the beginning of baseball season!

I'm getting FI some clothes he desparately needs and a card game he has been wanting for months. We aren't going crazy on each other because we both need to save for the wedding.

Yea...I tried to set a price limit on our gifts but FI had already gone over it with my gifts...ugh. We have the wedding money saved up but I'd like to have an extra cushion for the honeymoon and to start our house fund with!!

I'm so clueless as to what to get my FI this year. I'm usually on top of presents but I think with the wedding and the hurricane causing damage to our house, and my promotion at work I don't have enough brain space to deal with all of it. lol

I got my FI pajama pants, white undershirts for work, Xbox controller and headset, new keyboard, wireless mouse, Flyers hoodie, pull up bar and p90x.. He just made me a list and i bought off it. We don't like guessing and striking out lol but its always nice when I see something I know he'll like in addition to whatever he asked for.

Yea FI made a list and everything on it was already purchased for him :-P I think I'm just going to exchange the original gift at best buy and try to find him some Xbox games, movies, etc.

I got him a couple of sweaters, a Samsung Chromebook, and some cologne. He orginally wanted a tablet then decided he wouldn't like not having a keyboard so he had been eyeing the Chromebooks. It wasn't easy to find. They were backordered everywhere and no one could guarentee they would be here in time for Christmas. I went ahead and paid for it and figured I would give him a case with a picture of the chromebook in it and a note of 'coming soon' but luckily it just arrived with plenty of time to spare! The cologne was on a whim. I was buying shirts for my sister at Express and at the register they had some sitting there that I thought smelled great. Now I just hope he likes it!

He wants a new fish finder for his boat but that is going to have to wait until his birthday, this lady is tapped out!

This is what I'm planning to get FI as well! His wallet is literally falling apart; I'm afraid things will slip out and get lost when he takes it out of his pocket!

I got FI a cover for his new tablet, he got me kate spade earrings I was eyeing for the wedding. We both managed to pick up each others packages from our doorman so we exchanged all ready lol. We don't do big exchanges.

I got my Fiancee a new computer, my dog broke his so I figured it would be good, I'm going to put a little no dog decal on it, black friday was amazing this year

That wallet idea is AWESOME!! I will definatly be using that one!
