Has anyone been on brides.com and checked out the not engaged section?  It is so much more entertaining that the one on the Knot.  Maybe we're less crazy over here (not sure if that's totally true) but these ladies are hilarious.

    I didn't sign up for TK until after I got engaged.  So, I don't really understand the whole Not Engaged Yet board.  I don't know, maybe I thought I would jinx it or something.  What is there to talk about? How your BF is dragging his heels? Smile

    NEY here scares me.  Brides.com scares me.  I think the combination of the two might unlock some sort of eldritch abomination.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    The NEY board isn't full of crazy girls who are planning without a ring (even though that's what it sounds like).

    It's where I mostly post, because i'm NEY. So of course, why am I here on TK then? My best friends' getting married and I love this site for different ideas. And on NEY there isn't a whole lot of WR topics, it's just more everyday stuff.

    Most of the girls that post on NEY are even married, they just stay around.

    I joined the knot a loooong time ago because a girl in my office was engaged, and I got caught up in all of the wedding stuff.  I didn't know it had message boards back then or I probably would have been posting in NEY too!  I didn't start posting until I started planning my own wedding this year.

    I'm too lazy to check out the website ya'll are talking about.  Anyone feel like giving some of the funnier highlights?
