Happy Thursday!!

I freaking LOVE Thursdays. I have a pretty light work day, then Chinese and wine with some girlfriends around the firepit tonight. WOOT!

Morning. I freakin' hate Thursdays. I've got a parent conference at 8:00, normal teaching schedule all day, class from 4:30-9:30 tonight, and I have to fit in a quickie dr. visit for my daughter today. She stepped on a nail and needs to get a tetanus shot.

I'm uber jealous of your Chinese food, wine, girlfriends around the fire pit plans. Please tell me there will be s'mores involved.

Fishy - that sounds like fun, I am jealous. It has still been so hot here and I am tired of running the AC so much.

I am feeling a lot better, which is good. I am heading into work early today to get some work done while the boss is out for a bit this morning. Hopefully today will go by fast and the weekend will be here soon.

Good morning all!

I love Thursday's too..one day closer to Friday. We have our open house party Saturday that I've been planning for a month now..so ready for it to be here and done. Lot's of friends and family coming that have not been over to our new place yet though, so I'm excited.

It's FINALLY starting to feel like fall here again! We've kind of had a schizophrenic season. It was super rainy and gloomy, and then it was like...85 degrees last weekend, and now today, it looks like we're back to fall. Oh Fargo. You're so confusing.

Sorry you can't sleep, beach. That's the worst. And uhh..sara? Sounds like a freaking BUSY DAY. Holy crap!

Missy. I can't wait for the weekend either. I have ZERO plans. Glorious.

Morning, ladies. I've been an absolute zombie all week, and I'm hoping today is different. I'm trying to make a push to finish the first three chapters of my thesis by the end of the week! No real deadline, just one I set for myself so I don't quit working while the advisor's away.

I wish I could say that. We are moving at the beginning of November and I think I have one box pack. Thankfully, it is not far so stuff doesn't have to be packed really, really well.With me being sick for the past week, I haven't got much done at all.

Then, since we are involved with the youth group at our church, the director asked my H and I if we could help her with the lock-in/sleep over Friday night. I really don't mind, but really needed this weekend to catch up on a lot of things. So, I guess we will do it. The good part is that it is over by 8am Saturday, which means come home, sleep and get work done so we can watch some football Saturday night.

Gosh, that is a hard one. If it were apple pie, it would have to have crumb & struesel topping, so I guess maybe that would be more like an apple crisp. Hell, I dunno know.

Hokay, so...

I'm designing a research reactor. Research reactors are tiny reactors (my core is about the size of the average office trash can) used to supply neutrons instead of energy. We need the neutrons for all sorts of experiments and for making stuff like medical isotopes that get used in imaging and treatments.

My reactor is going to be able to supply neutrons at a much faster rate than any of the others out there right now. And I made it the best it could possibly be using this mathematical technique that no one's ever applied to reactor design before.

I'm going to against the grain and say pie. Because I made my first pie crust from scratch for a peach pie a few weeks ago and it was magically delicious. I plan on trying apple this weekend.

Good Morning all! I've had a rough week as well, we had both of our cashiers at work have a death in the family (one's mother and the other's brother) So I'm covering all the shifts this week, meaning 730am-9pm, and I have pre-cana all day saturday so I'm gonna be a zombie come Sunday. I am also jealous of the chinese food and wine. And I'm all about apple crisp.

I vote apple pie and applesauce. I LOVE homemade applesauce like you wouldn't believe.

I'm here, still sick, but hey!! Woke up earlier today than I did yesterday, so that's an improvement! I'm supposed to go to a handover meeting for the board I'm on, but I don't think I should go spread around my cold germs, so I'll see if I can Skype in. Other than that, I'm going to do some more laundry and clean house. It's amazing how dirty this thing got while we weren't even here!

Good morning!

I'm feeling decidedly better today than yesterday, mainly because I got a whole lot done yesterday, and am making a conscious effort not to stress out so much. Although FI's car finally died for good last night, and we can't locate the title of the car. The idea of going to the DMV makes me want to cry.

Also, I'm going to go with Opalsky and vote apple pie.
