Fortune Cookie Buffet

Has anyone seen or done one before? Any recommendations as to when to purchase, where from, etc.? As I was checking out my photographer's blog, I came across a wedding that had fortune cookies in nice glass containers instead of candy. It looked gorgeous & I was wondering if anyone had some advise. TIALaughing

I haven't seen them or anything before but worse case scenario maybe you could have your photographer contact the couple who did it and ask them or have them call you with details?

If you google search "bulk fortune cookies" you will come up with an endless list of companies.  Oriental Trading would probably be the most economical.  You might also want to check a few of your local Chinese restaurants to see whether they would sell you some, or put you in touch with their vendor.

Many of these sites offer an option of personalized fortunes as well.

The cheapest place I found was http://www.goodfortunecookies.com/store/home.asp, which offers 300 personalized fortune cookies for $40.  I bought chinese take out boxes for 11 cents a piece at our local Cash and Carry, so I'll be putting a couple cookies and some other goodies in each box.  I think fortune cookies are a cheap way to do personalized favors.

Did you end up ordering the cookies form goodfortunecookies.com?  How did they turn out?  Has anyone else used this site before?

    Thanks!
