Bridal/Bridesmaids Luncheon

Do any of y'all know what you're doing for yours yet?

My three aunts have graciously asked to host mine together.

One of my aunts just called and asked me for an estimate on how many people I'd like to invite.

I was thinking:

-Me (obviously)

-8 bridesmaids (includes 2 cousins)

-Mom

-3 aunts

-2 younger female cousins (guest book and programs)

-My grandma and step-grandma

-FMIL and FSIL

Does this sound okay?

I think that sounds good. I probably won't be doing one. I went to my cousin's in Texas and it was nice but I don't think we'll have time/schedules line up.

<div>I think sometimes the bride does. I know one of my friends hosted one when she got married and it was just her, the bridesmaids and her mom. It was really nice and relaxing. I probably would have gone this route, but since my aunt's offered, they will be the ones planning and hosting it. They just asked me for a number so they could look at different places and get an idea on costs, etc.</div>

When do you plan on doing this? The week before the wedding or before? I don't know if I will be able to do this because all my bridesmaids are out of state and I don't have any female cousins that I am very close too.

We're doing it the day before the wedding, so the 29th.

Also, Ashley, I was about to page you...can I see pictures of your venues/reception? It sounds so pretty!!

My FMIL is hosting mine (probably the day after my shower). I think it will just be me, my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, FMIL, and maybe FI and I's grandmothers. I think your guest list sounds very inclusive.

I haven't decided yet, but I would love to do one the day of for my 3 BM (2 sisters and best friend) along with my mom and both grandmothers.
I would say your list sounds good to me, it sounds like these people are all close to you.

I haven't decided yet. All my girls have said that they all want to get together one afternoon or evening before the wedding to hang out and get to know one another. I am thinking maybe have them all over a few nights before the wedding

I agree that sounds good. I'm hosting mine the same day as my mom is hosting the bridal shower so that my girls don't have to travel a lot (some live in NY and the parties are in MA).

I know that my bridal shower will be two weeks before the the wedding and the guest list will be up to my matron of honor. My party will be the night before. My bridesmaids and I will be doing breakfast the morning of the wedding.
