Hey Y'all! I am alittle late on this, but today is the first day I have had time to sit down and think of everything lol I went to Vegas the first weekend in December, for anyone getting married this month...Lucky!! So many fun activties going on for the holidays

First let me explain my plans...the first night was to go to Fremont to search for a meet and greet location, the second day was to check out the hotels and other things to do and third day was appointments
First Day:
Golden Nugget Casino and Resort:Our first night in Vegas we stayed at the Golden Nugget, they are in the process of renovations, but it is coming a long great! We stayed in this hotel because my family wanted to do a old las vegas themed meet and greet/ rehearsal. I loved the hotel and would stay here again but it wasnt my style for the wedding.
Dinner - Tony Roma's: Ha I had never been or heard of Tony Roma's before, if you are looking for $11.99 Steak and Lobester this is your place

....the food was okay nothing fancy, and got the job done( we took a late flight so we were starving)
Fremont Street: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE everyone who goes to Vegas needs to experience Fremont Street...it is so much fun!! I mean you will see the most random things happen here, it is an experience of its own. Check out pictures on this website:
http://www.vegasexperience.com/Grotto: This is an italian resturant, we have a chain here in Houston so I have been here before. They were great to talk too and of course they were helping us at 10:30pm....only in Vegas! The general catering sat down with us and gave us a few preset menus to look at, the pricing wasnt bad, but a little over ou budget for a meet and greet style. The manager then walked us to Gold Diggers( a club at the Golden Nugget).
Gold Diggers: This place was pretty cool, they had a balcony that over looked Fremont Street. If you stayed at the Golden Nugget you would get in for free(even guys

)....I talked to the manager there that night and he gave us a tour around....he said we could rent out the place for 2 -3 hours with open bar for $2,000 w/ DJ and Bartenders. Tempting, but we really wanting our guest to be able to eat. If they brought it food, I wouldnt be able to go through the manager anymore but through Golden Nuggets catering deparment which would increase the amount significatly.
2nd Day: Pumed to finally be able to check out the place were the reception will be

Palms Casino and Resort: When we pulled up we noticed they are doing renovations to the entray and front area(a lot of dust and constrution) ....We were able to check in early...11:30am I think. It was a very easy process! No wait or anything, we even got a good deal $49 for one of their new rooms(standard double beds)...they are newly renovated so everything smells so clean!!

Palms Hotel Room: Hotel Room was AWESOME!! They have only renovated in the Palms Tower, so make sure if you want these rooms to stay at the Palms Tower(not the Fantasy/Ivory Tower or Palms Place. You also get free wifi( they have resort fees)
Palms Place Hotel Room: While we were there we checked out all the towers....Palms Place is a non casino tower, very upscale! Great place for people who don't want to be bothered and I think even good for kids to stay(just bc there is no crazyness going on)
Shuttle: Palms has a shuttle to Caesar's every 30 minutes from 10am 9pm(I think), great way not to pay for a cab! The ride is about 5 - 10 minutes long.
Caesar's Forum: LOTS of walking and shopping

Trevi Resturant: This is an italian resturant in the Forum and OMG it is amazing!! They are able to rent out the top area for events and they are able to work with budgets. It is all open so be aware that it does get noisy.
Cosmoplitan Hotel: This is by far my new favorite hotel!! If you are looking for a fun and hip casino/hotel this is the place to be....I think this is where I am staying for my bachelorette night!! P.S. This is where wicked spoon is located, I heard the lines were super long, but worth the wait.
3rd Day:
Juno Gardens: I met with one of the coordinators at Caesars( not mine) to give me a tour around the area and my ceremony location. The pictures online are identical to what you see in person so I was grateful for that! Very nice secluded location

If anyone wants to see picture/ video let me know and I will email you

Tasting at the Palms: YUMMY, we pretty much tried all of their appetizers and they were sooo yummy! We decided on the Potato Station, Sliders a few cold apptz and a few hot ones too.
Kin Pin Suite!!: I FINALLY got to see the suite!!! I was soo nervous, but once I saw it I knew it was perfect!! I mean right when you walk in BAM bowling alley lol.....but there is a bar area and a lounge area so this helps with space. They are also able to move around the furniture which will be a big help!
Tasting at Caked: I swear all the food we had in Vegas was soo delicious! Even the cake

Having a tasting there was a little strange, they had a very small table with two chairs(my fiance had to stand), but it was a cute shop. I emailed them the ones we wanted to try before our tasting (Red Velvet, Strawberry Swirl, Lemon Poppyseed, and The Bavarian and Cream Cheese fillings).... they also provided us with chocolate and vanilla. I was obsessed with all of them! For our cake we chose Red Velvet w/ Cream Cheese, Strawberry Swirl w/ whipcream and Swirl(choc and vanilla) with Bavarian. This was my inspriation and I was able to do a 3 tier cake for $450. Stand and Delivery Fee waived

Overall I was very impressed with everything!
