Stones to sign instead of a guest book

Does anyone know where i could get pretty-colored stones to match our wedding colors that guests can sign? What kind of store, or a website?

  • you could probably get them from a landscaping or garden centre.  What are you planning on doing with them afterwards?
  • www.dollartree.com has the natural river stones for cheapI'd say check Michaels or a pet store as they usually have them in colors for decorations in aquariums
  • I love this idea about writing on stones. It looks cool in the vase afterwards. We considered doing the same thing for our wedding but we couldn't find any. I wish you luck. Oh, try a contractor and ask where they would get some. We ended up including photos and messages in an album as our guestbook. It rocked and looks great on our shelves. http://www.blueskypapers.com/unique-guest-books/
  • We would find a nice glass vase and keep it in the house as decoration and a nice reminder of the day. =)
  • As a gardener - I would shellac some and use them in my flower garden as an accent - do a group together for impact.
  • Has anyone ever heard of doing stepping stones instead? Each stone would have engraved in the middle something about you wedding...your names...your date....your city/destination....your wedding party...etc. (depending how many stones you needed) and then have your guests sign the outside of the stone to place in your garden or yard? I love the idea! My maid of honor told me about it & now I am on a search for some nice stepping stones that this idea would work on...any suggestions?
