So I e-mailed the food & beverage director at our venue a question. When he responded he also told me that he is leaving the venue at the end of the month and will let me know who my new contact will be.
I am bummed - this guy has been great from the beginning - very prompt in answering questions. When we met with him he knew his stuff - so much so I didn't have a single question when he was done explaining everything.
I am a little worried about who will be replacing him - or if the position is being combined with something else.
The director was very well dressed - slacks, button up and tie the two times we met with him. Another venue I went to the guy we met with was in a polo and khakis with a food stain on his shirt and for some reason I can now not get that image out of my head for my new contact.
This sucks!!
