Do you invite your photographer to the wedding(send Save the dates and invites)?

    Maybe I'm completely off base but they're a vendor, not a guest. You probably want to save out an invitation for them to photograph later and certainly put a response card in your file now so you remember to get them food but I certainly would send a save the date.

    Unless you're hiring friends to be your vendors (which is generally tricky to do an almost always results in extra stress), then no, you don't send vendors invitations/STDs, etc.  But you do need to plan for them in your meal planning - ask your caterer whether they offer vendor meals.

    I sent my photogs an invite since I was so happy with how they turned out and I had about two dozen leftover.  And they thought it was really neat.  Just happy to share my creations.  :)
