Looking for photographer

I am interested in finding a photographer in the San Diego area. We are having a destination wedding summer of 2012 so I need to get a head start. I found two photographers I love, but their price range is a little high. In my photographer, I am looking for a vintage/retro feel that pays attention to color alterations. I want my wedding to tell a story - so I don't want those typical wedding photos. Do you know of any? I'm willing to splurge on wedding photos over anything else, so whatever the price I would still like to see who else is out there! Thanks in advance :)

    My friend's sister used Alexandra Oat and the pictures are beautiful. She is very reasonably priced and gives you all the photos on a usb. I have never personally used her, but I am in contact with her and wil most likely hire her for my photographer. She also includes an engagement session with all her packages! Good luck!!     I am having my wedding in San Diego. I picked Aaron Levi Photography. i have seen his work at 2 of my friends weddings, (one in Vegas and the other San Diego) and another  wedding of my sisters.     maybe you could tell us the two that you'd seen that you liked the style of - that way we can gauge roughly style (and what cost is too high)...

    Thank you everyone for your help so far, I greatly appreciate it. There's just so many photographers out there that aren't listed on this site so it's hard to come across what I'm looking for (especially planning a destination wedding.)

    Hi; you should check out Corbin Kell Photography, www.corbinkell.cc, he is doing my wedding, did a few friends, and a cousins.  He does great work, really timeless kind of feel and awesome prices.

    My vote is for Unveiled Wedding Photography.  Fair prices, tons of experience, solid work and beautiful photos.  Whomever you go with make sure you ask to see a couple of full weddings from them so you just aren't judging them by their best photos.  In order to have story of your day told you need to make sure they get consistent shots during the event, and not just a couple of stand outs.  Every photo won't be a stand out, by the way.....you need to look for consitantly solid photos.  Just my thoughts...:)
