What about doing grilled vegi skewers for the vegetarian guests....
and how about adding some fresh vegis and chips with a few dips too.

Love the veggie skewer idea! That and a big green salad would round everything out! Maybe some coleslaw too?

Sounds delicious - I love casual events!

I don't know... it sounds like somthing I would make for dinner any night of the week...I would definitely add some fancier food in there to make it seem more "wedding-like"
That sounds exactly like what I cooked for dinner last week and I just think you should just do something more "special" for your weddding

I second LisaTyler's post. At least do something with the presentation, if not the food itself, to make it seem less common.

I'd be good with a veggie dog. ;-)

I'd definintely do the fruit chunks inside a decoratively carved watermelon, to make it look more festive.  It may seem a small touch, but it's something people will notice.  I'd also do melon balls instead of chunks for the watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew.

As for the hot dogs, have you considered renting an actual  hot dog cart, complete with condiment station and all the cute features - having someone stationed there to be the "vendor," and handing them out in the little paper hot dog holders?  Again, it's a small detail that can turn something ordinary into an "event."

The idea of vegetable skewers, by other posters above, is fantastic.  Those can also be presented with a bit of flair to dress it up.  Same goes for corn on the cob.  You can often find very inexpensive corn cob holders that can compliment almost any theme.

The variety of drinks is great!  Have you considered doing a punch?  A quick and easy one is equal parts 7-Up and Tahitian Treat.

Since I don't know the "theme" of your wedding, that's all I'd offer up for now.  I plan theme parties, however, and would be happy to add to that if you're going for anything in particular!

    Good luck!

Sounds delicious!  We are doing something similar.  We are trying to do unique spins on comfort foods.  Not sure if that is going to work out, but yours sounds delicious!!
