Undergarments/shoes

Hey girls!

I'm looking for the best place to get & the best type of undergarments to wear under ur wedding dress. Also looking for the best place to get & the best type of low heal/MOST COMFORTABLE shoes to wear with ur wedding dress. I'm going for comfort moreso than fashion for both since I will be standing for the better part of my ceremony that lasts an hour.
Thanks for ur help!

I'm ordering my underthings from David's, because the stuff I borrowed when I tried on dresses there was very comfortable.

As for shoes, I'm taller than my fiance and I'm super into comfort, so I will be rockin' TOMS. My dress covers my feet, and I like the idea that I gave a child in need a pair of shoes on my wedding day.

I have bridal heels that I am wearing for the ceremony but as soon as it's over I am changing into high wedge flip flops. We are taking the streetcar to the venue so I know I want to be in flip flops but my dress will be hemmed for heels so the 3" wedge flip flops are perfect and super comfortable. Check out Rocket Dog Crush. They have a fabric thong/strap so it won't cut into you at all. Plus you can go to hobby lobby and they sell a bunch of stuff to dress them up and make them more "bridal".

Ballet slippers! I think I may find a white pair and wear them since I used to dance, and I need to be in the flattest shoes possible on my day!

As far as undergarments, try Spanx if you haven't already. Just don't get too small of a size, you'll feel like you're slowly suffocating. And get the ones with a hole in the crotch so you can go to the bathroom easily. They are NOT EASY to take off once you get them on!! Esp in a big gown.

Isn't Basics Underneath that little shop on Magazine near CC's coffee? Anyone? It's been a year or two since I was there last. They are pricey but the ladies that work there are always fantastic.

Also, Victoria's Secret sells thigh-high stockings with silicone on the inside to hold them up without garters. I love, love, love them. I wear them for all sorts of occasions, from formal stuff to under my military dress skirt. You can get nude, black and white. They can have a plain band or a lace-looking band, which is prettier for bridal lingerie, I think. They're like $15, but worth every single penny, and beat the heck out of the drugstore stockings that have an awk waistband that can make lumps under what you're wearing if you have a close fitting dress with a fabric that shows everything. Not to mention, you don't have to take them off to go to the bathroom.

    Gotta love logistics.

I wore shoes by Angela Nuran.  www.angelanuran.com. She was a ballroom dancer and they were originally designed for that, and transitioned into the bridal world.  They are pricey, but so comfy!  I wore them for 8 hrs and my feet didn't hurt at all!
