    1.  Apilco Brasserie Blue

(but the salad plates we got had one small fleur de lis in the inner circle)

    2.  Williams-Sonoma

    3.  We wanted something very classic and timeless because we want to have it for a long time, but not completely boring (which is why we didn't go with the solid white, and why we did the fleur de lis salad plates).  They're really substantial, high quality pieces too.

    4.  Yes.  Still very happy with it.  It has held up beautifully and doesn't look at all dated to me.

We didn't register for everyday dinnerware  because we already have a set and it's super cheap and modern.

1 of our dinner dishes did rock a little bit.. but we just bought more to replace it.

They are from CB2 - White Square dinnerware

    1.  Juliska Berry & Thread

    2.  Bloomingdales

    3.  We wanted white dinnerwear.  My FI was picky about the size of the dinner plate (he hates it when dinner plates are too small).  He loves white dinnerware because it shows off the food better (can you tell he is a chef?)

    4.  We received 1/2 of our set for our shower, but we are waiting until we are married to use it!  I can't wait!

    1. Noritake Colorwave Graphite Dinnerware

    2. Bed Bath and Beyond (but it's also sold at Macy's for twice the price!)

    3. We wanted something modern but also something that wouldn't go out of style. It's also very heavy duty and I can tell it's going to last a very long time.

    4. We registered for 12 place settings and have received 8 so far. We aren't going to use them until after we buy a house but I can't wait! We also registered for the "accessories" and received a few of those (salt and pepper, creamer, pasta serving bowl etc.)

    1. Vera Wang Flirt

    2. Registered at Macy's

    3. Just registered Monday, so haven't received any as gifts yet. I love the design bc it has a "bazaar" type of style, like something you may find in Pier One, etc., but having elegance as well.

    Aspen from Crate and Barrel:

We wanted something simple and white that we wouldn't get sick of.  We haven't received any yet.

    1.  What set(s) did you register for? (brand and PIP if possible)
    noritake kona in indigo
    Kona Indigo 4-Piece Place Setting

    2.  Where did you register for it?
    bed bath and beyond

    3.  Why did you register for that one in particular?
my sister has the noritake colorwave and i really like it....and mh and i liked the kona a little more b/c it had the colored rim around the plates

    4.  Are you happy with it (if you already received it)?
we recieved all the sets we registered for, and his aunt got us 2 serving plates and a serving bowl, and we also registered for the pasta bowls, and the salt and pepper shaker....i'm really happy with them....one bowl and one mug have chipped so far, but only because i was being careless...but i love 'em.......although, i would have preferred a different color, but i'm still happy with them

    1. Noritake Colorwave Square in Green

    2.  From Macy's. They didn't have this style at BB&B when we were registering, although they carry it there now.

    3. This set caught our attention when we were looking at the fine china in the Macy's houseware department. We like that it's modern but not over the top or too girly.  I like white plates but wanted a pop of color so these were just perfect.

    4. We registered for 12 place settings and surprisingly, received all 12 as shower or wedding gifts. We waited until after the wedding to unpack them so we've been using them about a week now. So far we love them.  The plate size is great and they feel very solid.

Noritake Colorwave in Blue (like rlb81's).
    Registered for them at BB&B
I liked them b/c they weren't busy looking.  Since we hadn't really picked out the decor of our kitchen, but already knew there were elements of blue in it, we decided to go for the solid color.
they're very durable.  i've dinged it and then swore i chipped it, but nope... good a new.  if you get them make sure you register for the 5pc settings, as opposed to the box set (30something pieces).  they have a more resilient coating on them.
