H and I were at Best Buy last night looking at that Super Mario game bc we need more games for our Wii. Now I really want it after you ladies talking about it....
It's really fun. And it's not nearly as bad when you only have 2 people playing. If you ever play with 4 people its practically impossible. You just really have to work together. If one goes too far ahead it kills the other one because they go off screen. I love though that you can bubble to save yourself from dying.

And hi I woke up all geared up to use my new Cricut...but then I looked around the house and realized how disgusting it was and had to clean. I'm taking a break while H cooks lunch and then I'll finish up the bathroom and kitchen. Then when H is done studying for his final, we're going to put up our tree and decorations.
We're pretty messy people and I always forget how much I LOVE our apartment when it's clean!

Kate has a beautiful grey, white and yellow bedset, grey rug, dark floors ( I think) and black furniture. The grey walls would ahve really set off the room. Purple, not so much.

How exciting! I definitely remember those days. I am longing to finish my graduate degree.
My BA is in Psycholgy. I had thought about being a school guidance counselor and might still become one some day. However, I had started a graduate teacher licensure program that lead to a Master's in Education before I moved here to be with H. (I tried to transfer down here, but that is a whole another story). I will pick up my degree as soon as we move back, which hopefully is going to be this coming summer.
Pretty much anything psychology, children, special needs children, and family therapy interests me as well. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I got done with my undergrad degree, I just knew I wanted to work with kids. So, right now I am teaching pre-k. I have also worked with special needs kids (which I loved) and taught 2 and 3 yr olds before I moved. Decisions, decisions....

I definitely agree with you. I wish I knew what I wanted to do for sure when I was going school and already had my teaching certificate going through undergrad, but oh well, things happen for a reason.
I never understood wasting money on classes that won't benefit you in the real world. At least taking a class like abnormal psych or something will help you when you have that crazy & annoying co-worker. At least you can somewhat understand people's reasoning for doing the things they do.
FI and I were supposed to be putting up Christmas decorations, but my boss couldn't use his season tickets for the Cardinals game today, so we are going to that. Not really a Cards fan in particular, but they are awesome seats so it should be fun.
I am sorry to keep you. Yes, definitely nice to chat with someone who has something in common.
Good luck with your studying and projects. I know how the final days can be so stressful and exhausting. My sister is counting the days down until she is done for the quarter on Thursday. She is an undergrad and has had a really rough quarter.
Just got home from the gym. I have to start my X-Mas shopping (yes I said start; I have done NONE so far ) plus I have a huge paper to write for my Grad class. Sigh. Sundays are never relaxing around here.
I should have went to the gym today considering I have been sick all week and didn't go once. I am feeling a lot better now, so I am going this week regardless. At least I feel like I have had a productive day, which is good bc I had a lot to get done.

Hey barrel! Dang, I bet that has made for a long weekend. Aren't you almost done?
I worked last night 11-7, had breakfast with H, went and picked out a Christmas tree, cut it down and got home. I had just settled down to nap/sleep when SIL stopped by to drop some stuff off and ended up chatting with her for like 3 hours. I still haven't slept and at this point if I sleep now I don't know that I'll sleep tonight.

Haha. That is too funny. I can't wait to become a certified teacher. Hopefully all the experience teaching pre-k I will have by then will help me land a job quickly. I know I will get there someday, even though I feel like I am getting old. I guess that is just the way life works sometimes.
