Brunch Bridal shower in December

I would appreciate any advice. I'm planning a bridal shower that is taking place in December at mid morning (11am) I've read some things that say "Do mostly breakfast" and then some say "More lunch items"

What would you like to see served at a brunch bridal shower?

Thanks

All the brunches I've been do had pretty much an equal amount of breakfast and lunch foods.

  • I like some of both as well. I really like things that can kind of go either way, like ham or cheesy potatoes. We usually do some kind of baked french toast, eggs, fruit salad, veggie tray, ham, rolls, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, sausage or bacon.

  • I was recently invited to a brunch post wedding. They had bagels, egg bakes, bacon, sausage and pastries for breakfast foods. They had pulled pork sandwiches, veggies and chips for lunch foods. They had assorted coffees, teas, juices and sodas as well as bottled water. It was really nicely set up. I suggest something like that.

I was at a bridal shower where the bride was having a hard time deciding on cake flavors(she wanted 2 flavors) so she had the 4 flavors she narrowed it down to and had bridal shower guests give their opinions. Which was nice because the flavor I loved was the flavor of cake I enjoyed at her wedding 3 weeks later.
