I know Vista suite at Mandalay Bay has strip view and so does Stardust suite at The Orleans (not view of the whole strip). Do you know other suites that are big enough for possibly 50-60 people reception with view of the strip?
Check out the suites at the Elara (formerly PH Towers by West Gate) We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite about a month after they changed to "Elara" The room was amazing. The strip view was beautiful (floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom). For a reception I would reccommend checking out the 3 or 4 bedroom suite, or the Junior Suite.
Even though the Elara is slightly set back from the strip, it actually wasn't an inconvienience. You access the hotel by walking through the Miracle Mile shops. They have a parking garage with valet serice too if your guests will be driving in.
I just had my reception in Planet Hollywood's Apex Suite and it has a prime view of the Strip. We had a spot on view of the Bellagio fountains. It was amazing. We had 53 people.
I will check The Elara. The Apex suite is a bit spendy for my budget. I like the Vista suite but I was worried with the noise complaint issue if we are going to have a DJ. When I searched on this board, most of the noise complaints are from last year and couple years ago. Did anyone have a problem this year so far?
Krissstyle is having her wedding with a DJ there this Saturday, You can wait for her reviews if you woulld like! Also, you can use the iPod docking station and that works fine too.
Hi, I got married last year in TheHotel "T suite" on Aug 20th and the reason why I booked the T is because T always have the strip view and I would like my guest to have the view and I don't have to worry about it at the last min. T-suite is a bit smaller than the L suite - 100 square feet less (I have 50 people total - a little cramped but the guests really enjoyed the view ) for the music we hooked up in the build-in room speakers and no complains
I had my suite in the Vista at Mandalay Bay a few weeks ago. It was an amazing suite. Room was awesome, and the views are so pretty espcially at night. The room faces right down the strip.
