What's up for the weekend?
We start 6let's speech therapy today. I'm a little anxious, but he's been so great at his last appts it should be fine. Saturday we are shopping for nursery furniture and a refrigerator. Sunday is my family reunion. All of that is barring any complications with FIL.
Re: Happy Friday!
Tomorrow we'll be cleaning the house, but I'm so proud to say that it's not that bad. I have actually been very productive since we got back from vacation - kept up with the laundry, dishes and didn't let any clutter accumulate. I go through these spurts or moods where I can't stand the house to be unkempt and other times I don't care. Right now I care.
Sunday is party day!
(and Monday is the first day of school)
Tomorrow: DH and BIL are running in the Warrior Dash. Their heat is at 9:30a and the place is about 1.5 hours away. So we have to be up around 5:30a so we can be there by about 8:30a. After that we head home to shower/clean-up and then head to the IL's for a cookout since BIL and SIL are in tonw.
Sunday: I'm hoping to sleep-in. We're having dinner at Fogo De Chao with some friends. Bring on the meat coma!
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
Today I am going to Nords with a shoe loving cw and we are hoping to burn it down.
Sleeping is probably a good idea; I can't spend money in my sleep.
Varuna - which Hitchcock movie? I'm a big fan.
We're heading OOT for the weekend. DH is picking me up at work at 3 and then we're out of here until Sunday afternoon. I'm so glad we finally have a car with A/C and can drive more than 5 miles without heat exhaustion. Our summer activities have been very hindered by that.
We're going to a ball game tonight, a party tomorrow and then my grandpa's 84th bday party at his nursing home on Sunday afternoon. Sunday night we're getting together for cake and ice cream for my mom's birthday. (March, August and November are big birthday months in my family - the constant social engagements during those months drives me nuts.)
::gasp::
"NO! That was An American in Paris!!!" So now he needs to be educated.
I love Hitchcock, too. Although I was never a fan of Vertigo for some reason. I think I love Jimmy Stewart too much to watch him all crazy cakes in that role. But I love all of the others.

[QUOTE]AF: Suspicion. They did a whole series of all his movies and we haven't made it to most of them, so I'd like to get to this one. I haven't really ever seen any of them, so I was interested. And hey, it's free and in the AC! Also, I just found out our indie theatre is getting Beasts of the Southern Wild! Whoot! We might go see that too.

Ohhhh! Let me know how that is! I'll probably need to wait on the DVD/blueray for that one. It is showing here at one of our indie/art houses, but there's no way I'm going to get to it before it's gone.
Anyway, I get the night off. I think I'm going to get my nails done and head to the mall for CPK and a trip to the gap. Their 30% off friends and family is this weekend, so it's a good time to get some things.
Tomorrow, yoga and spending the day with Baby A, as H has nerd club. We'll probably do something late morning and then head home. I'll catch up on laundry, tidying up and SoA.
Sunday we're going to take A to the beach first thing. It's not awful if you get there before 9 and leave before 11. Then breakfast with H's family and I don't know what.
Waiting for kid to get up so I can drive to my parents (moms b-day party)...then I can take more meds. (if I take 'em now, can't drive)
