Saturday Morning!

Re: Saturday Morning!

• Ha. Our 42" HD was like $1000. But, apparently it was THE BEST ONE out there. Whatever. H's deal, not mine.  That was like 3 years ago though.
• Steph- There is a reason behind this. Usually, they are missing a mineral of some sort. But, it is fairly common.

http://dogs.about.com/od/faqs/f/Why-Does-My-Dog-Eat-Poop.htm

Denise- Stay in bed lady! Make that baby stick <3

Today is just laundry, and light cleaning. I've picked one thing to organize every weekend, so today I think it's my medicine cabinet and I'm sure I'll find something else.

Then anniversary dinner tonight.

• Good morning!  We got ice last night, so I skipped yoga this morning and I'm a little bummed about it.  Now I'm trying to muster up the energy for my run today--thank goodness we have a treadmill.

Other than that, I don't have a single plan for today.  I guess I should clean...

• Hike, that is SUPER shady.  Gross.

I don't even want to TALK about our stupid TV.  My god.  At least H hasn't yet said "I think we need a BIGGER ONE WITH MORE STUFF!!!!"  Thank god.  He does that a lot.

I'm in a wonderful mood today.  Sad I didn't get to meet up with Steph and Mara...but I SHOULD be at work (at the old job) right now.  I would have been there for almost 3.5 hours already.  Instead?  I slept in until 930, read in bed for awhile, and then got up.  And we're going to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D today!  Woooo!

Good morning. I'm cleaning and working on my class stuff today. Trying not to type too much to give my fingers a break. I have a 3-day weekend so at least Monday won't be spent on the computer all day.

Hike, when are you moving to GA? Or have you already? We might be up in the St. George area in April for camping and a powwow, not sure yet.

Denise, glad you are feeling better. I hope everything remains happy and healthy.
Good morning all. I'm kinda cranky. My friend who just had a kid called the house at 7am in the morning to biitch about how much it sucks about having a kid. First of all, it's 7am in the morning. I try to relate but I can't because I'm childless. I asked if it's okay if I call her back later because it's early in the morning. She's all "Whatever happened to I can call you whenever I want? You suck." and hung up on me. Seriously? Anyway, I feel like an ass but at the same time, I think she's being an ass too. Hmmmph!
Posted by Champagne Supernova
No, you are not the ass in this situation, so never think this.

Yes, it sucks being a new mom, you lose sleep, you get frustrated. But, you dont take that out on your childless friends. She made the decision to have a kid,you didnt.
I'm sure she's just tired, but still no excuse for that behavior.

• What the heck?  No...I don't think you're being an ass!

• Ive been up for a while but i just feel lazy so I havnt done much. I watched some vids on youtube, looked at some news, pinned some stuff. You know, saturday morning usual wasting time stuff. It snowed a bit lastnight ontop of the snow we already got so its super pretty and actually looks like winter out so I might go play with the dog in the snow in a little bit.
• CS, that sucks. You defenitely weren't in the wrong. I'd be pissed if someone called me at 7am just to vent too, especially if they hung up on me.

Someone at work was annoyed with me a couple weeks ago because they brought their baby in and I didn't go see. Everyone was oohing and awing over the baby and apparently, I was supposed to join in. But I had work to do, and babies just don't do it for me. now, if a puppy or kitten had been brought in, I'd be pushing everyone over to hold him/her.
• Steph - only 1" of snow?  That weather system coming from Seattle looked huge and pretty all encompassing.  We got betw 5" and 8" depending on where in the Chi metro area.  I think our suburb got about 6"  Now tonight we're expecting freezing rain :(

Went to WW - gained .8 which on ther face of it is not bad, but I think it's from the Flonase the ENT rx'ed and if that's true then .8 is just the beginning of the weight gain.  Last time I was on Flonase I gained quite a bit.

Hoping H hits the sack soon; he's been plowing since 3 PM yesterday.
• So have any of y'all seen The Help? What about Moneyball? I'm debating whether or not they are worth the $5 rental on demand. H doesn't want to see either of them so I watch movies he doesn't care for while he's at work.
• I woke up to snow after getting 2 6 hour stretches of sleep. Woooooo!!

Denise - feel better! I missed it but did they say why there was spotting? I had a SCH from 7 - 9 weeks and spotted until 12 weeks and that was no fun/scary.

CS - Wtf? I have a kid and I'd be pissed if someone called at 7am. Social calls should be emergency only before 10am in my world.

Sesh- I'm the same way with babies (other than K or really close friends). I also think babies don't belong at work though.

Eh, I was never much of a baby person either. My mom would point one out when I was pregnant to which I would say, yeah it's a baby. I think everyone assumes everybody likes babies.

Marrin- I didnt know Flonase causes weight gain. Does it have steroids in it?

• It looks SO nice outside.  It's bright, and sunny, and the snow is still clean enough to be pretty.  But it's only 10, feels like -5 (which is a vast improvement over yesterday and the day before BUT STILL).  It's supposed to wintry mix tonight and tomorrow.  Woo hoo.

<div>Thanks! They are  not sure exactly. They took blood and my levels went up, they didn't double but went up a decent amount. They gave me a rhogham shot yesterday and will take more blood on Monday and an ultrasound next week. He said that if my numbers go up and there is no heartbeat, that could mean it is ectopic. He said if they go down it could mean that I am miscarrying. If they go up and there is a heartbeat, that is a good sign. They aren't sure why I was bleeding. He said that it is "normal" in 50% of pregnancies because your hormones are increasing instead of decreasing, like with a menstrual cycle, so many people have exaggerated premenstrual symptoms in the beginning. I won't know more until I get more blood work and an ultrasound. I finally stopped bleeding and spotting altogether as of yesterday afternoon. I am hoping that is a good sign. </div>
