I am so excited!! FI and I are going to our venue today to see how it is decorated for the fall. I plan on taking lots of pictures!!

FI and I are going to dinner tonight, but its his birthday. lol

I made him a low-fat pumpkin pie cake for dessert. The batter tasted really good so I hope the cake is just as good. The recipe called for greek yogurt instead of oil and egg whites instead of whole eggs.

I'm getting married on this date too! I cannot believe we're under a year away! Have any of you had your Fiance claim that "it's too early to worry about this stuff"? Mine has said it before. I'd rather get an early start on everything then wait until the last minute to get everything done!

Mine has for a lot of things! But, we've also been engaged for 14 months now too.

I am starting on centerpieces this winter. My invites are pretty much drafted, I just need to order the wording part and put them all together.

What are some things you want to do that he thinks you should wait on?

EVERYTHING! lmao. But mostly food (his family is making it for us v. catering), tuxes, dresses, flowers, etc. etc. He wants to just get through the holidays (which I totally understand) and start really getting down to everything at the first of the year. Me personally, I'd rather get everything started now so we're not waiting to the last minute. I don't work well under pressure so I'm attempting to avoid a total meltdown :)

Me too, I like having a head start on things.... the venue was the most stressful for me, Im not sure what its like in your cities, but in Vancouver its tough to find affordable venues! Soo happy with what we decided to go with, :)

It's hard to find affordable ones here as well. But we got pretty lucky cause his brother helps run a theater in town and we're having our ceremony and reception there for pretty cheap. It has taken a lot of stress away having a ceremony and reception site.
