well I dont think you should be having sex with other men besides your FI, But i take mine off when i got the beach, and shower and bed because it pokes me in the face oh and sometimes dishes, it just gets dirty and i like for it to stay shiny!!

I take mine off when I'm swimming and doing dishes. I keep it on when I shower but I should take it off. Haven't had sex with another man besides FI - I kinda think I'd keep it off forever if I did that....

I only take mine off when I go to the barn to ride horses, digging in the garden or cooking / baking really messy food. It stays on the rest of the time. I take it to Jareds to get it cleaned whenever I want.

And I agree with pp. You should not be sleeping with other men when you have a FI. I'm hoping/assuming that was supposed to be a joke.

I have never heard of that either. I basically take mine off to shower, swimming, when I go to the gym, if I am doing something where it could get scratched up. And yes, I hope that was meant to be a joke, but I don't think you should be having sex with other guys except your FI or hubby.

I've never heard of the 4 S's. I don't wear my e-ring except when I leave the house and I don't always wear it then either. I pretty much take it off as soon as I get home and put it in my jewelry box. I can't stand having jewelry on when I'm laying on the couch or doing things around the house. People who "never" take theirs off are weird to me!

The first time I was engaged I never took my ring off...and after 8 months it was scratched, dinged, and generally kinda cruddy-looking. This time I take it off sometimes when I work out (only because I tend to retain water when I exercise and my fingers swell), and always when I shower, swim, or sleep.

I almost never were mine. I need to have it sized but don't want to send it off to New York to get it done and for warranty reasons that is where it was to be done. We are going up there for the HM so I thought I would do it then so I don't have to worry about it getting lost in the mail or anything. I have lost it 3 times at the house and once camping so I stopped wearing it except for when out doing wedding things or for FI show.

I was taking off mine a lot at first due to my finger being chapped. But, my friend told me the more you take it off the less you are used to it and more easily lose it. I leave it on all the time now (except when I was sick and felt horrible, I took it off for a day when I slept all day!)

I only take mine off when I'm cooking really messy things, like meatloaf when I have to get my hands in there. So I guess that would be S for...Sloppy?

I take mine off when in the water (so showering/bathing and swimming), when working out, and when doing heavy duty hand work like gardening. I leave it on otherwise.
