Girls who are DIY'ing Programs

Where did you get your template?  Or did you just create them from scratch? And how many did you make vs. how many people were coming to the wedding?

I'm creating mine from scratch. I just created two columns in a word document and I'm going to use a paper cutter to cut them and then embellish.

Oh sorry...I didn't answer all the questions. I'm expecting about 200 total guest, I'm going to make about 150-180 programs because I know everyone won't be at the church.

We are making ours from scratch and using Adobe InDesign to design them. We'll probably print and assemble 100 ahead of time (140 invited), and then wait for the final count to print and assemble the rest.

I used a combination of templates from Knotties on Publisher. I'll probably make around 125 or so--we invited 211.

I just started mine (early I know!) but I'm doing my set up in powerpoint. I want smaller programs so they'll be a sheet folded in half. I Think the only tricky part will be printing fronts and back properly!

    Ditto-same here.
Our guest list is about 70 but since we're only inviting close friends and immediate family, we anticipate everyone will come to the ceremony, so we will probably make the same number of programs.

I had 235 at the wedding and I think I made 1/2 of that for the programs and it was plenty.

I made my own (4x6 booklets, I have the file and pics in my bio) from scratch.

We had about 200 people (including WP) and made 105 programs.  We had about 5 left.  We had them sitting out on a table with a sign, so no one was handing them out and people just helped themselves.

I used Publisher for mine based off a pic I found on Weddingbee. We're inviting 206 and once we get RSVPs back, I'll know how many to make. I'm planning on about 125 though.

I am making them myself with all of the materials purchased from Paper Source (I love that store). They will be done this week, so I will post a picture for you. We have 160 attending and we will probably make 100.

I actually bought the tri-fold programs from Office Max.  They had a website where you go and download the templete...super easy and they turned out really well.

It's time. Adoption saving and process started in November 2012.

I made mine in Word, and made about 60-70 for 110 peeps. I'd be happy to share mine if you'd like...its for a Catholic ceremony.

We made ours in PowerPoint based on ChiMonique's template and everyone raved (PIB). We used craft paper from Michaels' for the cover and resume paper for the inserts. We made 100 for 125 people and had just 6 left over.

    Here's the template:

    HTH!
